Story
Olly 1 1/2 old   he is neutered and vaccinated. loves to go during the day hours. He sleeps in a crate or in my son’s bed at night. We are having to rehome him due to issues with our other animals. He does not do well with cats or chickens. He loves cuddles, playing fetch and has a favorite raccoon toy he snuggles to sleep with. He will walk on a leash after a minute or two of getting used to it. He also dislikes getting into a vehicle but enjoys the ride once he is there. We rescued him last year from a kill shelter and he has been the sweetest little guy ever. call or text Melissa 256-479-7499 www.safehavenpets.org Scottsboro Al area. October 27, 2024, 9:06 pm

Story
Someone dumped this baby and her sister. Apparently they were part of a larger litter who was also dumped, mother and all in various locations. Both are up for adoption. Both will go to a non fighting, non abusive owner. I would love for them to go together but I know sometimes that is not possible. Whoever dropped them taught them simple commands and they halfway mind. They are very social. They also know to stay back from cars when they are in motion. Both would be good dogs and easy to train. What little we have worked with them, they listen and mind. I would love to keep them, but I already have several pets and I do not have the deserving time to spend with another pet.

Story
Introducing Shaggy: Your Loyal and Loving Companion Meet Shaggy, a resilient pup who's overcome a tough start in life and is now ready to find his forever home. Shaggy is heartworm negative, with all his annual vaccines and rabies shots up to date. Before he joins his new family, Shaggy will be neutered and microchipped, ensuring his health and safety for years to come. Shaggy is a delightful companion who loves nothing more than exploring the world around him. Whether it's going on long walks or simply enjoying a leisurely ride in the car, Shaggy's zest for life is infectious. He may even tuck his head under the seat for a cozy nap, relishing in the comfort of the dark when he's feeling tired. Outside, Shaggy is eager to work alongside you, but inside, he longs to be a cherished member of your family. He enjoys playing with his stuffed animals and cuddling up on the couch with you, especially when he's feeling sleepy. Providing him with a blanket to cuddle under adds an extra level of comfort, helping him feel safe and secure. Shaggy is a well-behaved pup who excels on the leash, except when nature calls and he simply can't wait. In those moments, he may show his playful side by over-sleeping, but it's all part of his adorable charm. Shaggy has proven himself to be great with older kids and has shown no issues around other dogs or cats. While he may throw a little tantrum when it's time for his shots, a little reassurance and patience go a long way in helping him overcome his fears. If you're interested in learning more about Shaggy and providing him with the loving home he deserves, please don't hesitate to reach out. He's eagerly awaiting the chance to become a cherished member of your family.

Story
🐾 Meet Tasha: The Puppy Who Knows She's Cute! 🐾 Say hello to Tasha, the sweet girl who knows just how adorable she is! Tasha loves to make everyone feel welcome—she’ll happily greet anyone and everyone, and maybe even say hello to a stranger twice if they forget to tell her how pretty she is! 🌟 While Tasha may not be as adventurous as her sister, she still enjoys going on walks. She just needs a little more reassurance and, of course, plenty of treats to keep her moving along! Speaking of treats, Tasha has already mastered the art of begging with the most irresistible puppy dog eyes. But it’s important to keep treat time in check, so there’s plenty of room for training! This lovely girl adores kids and is super gentle when given the chance to interact. Tasha is going to grow into a big girl, so helping her maintain good manners as she grows is key. She’s a quiet pup, only barking when she’s playing—or if you’re not feeding her fast enough! 🍖 For more information on Tasha, please message us on Facebook or call/text us at 256-960-1408. 🐕 Euthanasia date: 10/14/24

Story
ntroducing Tommy, a 3-4 year old Lab mix with a heart full of love and a need for a special home to help boost his confidence. Tommy is a sweet, loyal boy who will stick by your side as long as you’re ready to give him some extra pets! Tommy is friendly and has yet to meet a stranger at the shelter. While he’s still working on showing his goofy side, we’re confident that with patience and a loving home, he’ll quickly become the star of your life! Tommy is dog selective, so he’ll need a slow and proper introduction to any new furry siblings. He’s a quiet guy, barking only when someone comes to the door, then quickly settling back in for some more pets. He’s eager to please and will wait patiently at the front of his kennel for a little extra love. Tommy is still learning about leash walking and needs encouragement and support on his walks. He’s done well with all the children he’s met, though he can get a bit overexcited with very young kids. Supervision is recommended to ensure there are no accidental falls. Tommy has been neutered, received his rabies vaccine, had one 5-in-1 vaccine, and has been dewormed. If you think you can provide the patient, loving home Tommy needs, please reach out for more information! Message us on Facebook or call/text us at 256-960-1408.
