Story
Nelly is a 10 year old black lab. She was given to me by a relative when she was 4 to 5 months old. She has spent most of her life in the backyard, but does come in at night. She is house trained. She hasn’t had much experience with a leash, but she will get excited and be ready to go when you put one on her. She enjoys car rides, but she doesn’t like going to the vet. She’s a very good watch dog and will let you know when someone pulls up. She is gentle and very loving.

Story
Wayne is an 8 month old male Lab mix, who would love to be your new best friend! He is very friendly and oh-so-eager to please. He will even occasionally jump up to your level, just to show how much he loves you. Wayne also gets along very well with other dogs, and has lived in the same pen with a few different dogs while at the shelter (currently with Rocky). The other dogs have really helped Wayne come out of his shell, bringing out his joyful lovable personality. Wayne is playful, and enjoys having short play sessions with Rocky or chasing toys with you. When he is in the park, he loves to run as fast as he can to check out everything; but then he comes running back to you, since you are MOST interesting to him! Afterwards, Wayne enjoys resting close by you, and simply hanging out together. He will make a wonderful, loving companion for someone. Please visit Wayne soon, he can’t wait to meet you! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Story
Nevada is a 2 year old female Lab mix, who is friendly and sweet-natured. She absolutely loves being with people! Nevada enjoys a short run in the park, but seems to prefer spending most of her outdoor time walking around and exploring new sights and smells. Nevada is fine when passing by other dogs’ cages, and she came in to the shelter with another female dog. Still, a meet-n-greet is always recommended if other dogs live in your home. Nevada is fairly laid back, well-mannered, walks well on a leash, and will follow your lead. She also takes treats oh-so-gently from your hand, and has such sweet soulful eyes that are sure to steal your heart! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Story
Gracelynn is a female 2.5 year old Lab mix, who has the makings of a Fetch champion. She is agile, loves playing Fetch, and is good at returning the ball for another round. Gracelynn likes squeaky toys, and balls, and … actually, she seems to like them all! Occasionally she will also do a cute pounce onto a toy. And throughout a play session, she gives lots of tail wags and her ears go in all directions! Gracelynn is good on a leash, and seems friendly with other dogs. She enjoys meeting dogs as she passes them, giving a cute greeting while walking past them. Overall, Gracelynn would do amazing in any home willing to give her some play time, lots of cuddles, and a soft place to nap!  She is shown in one photo playing with a puppy named Ayo. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Story
Hi there! My name is Click, and I’m a young easygoing pup with a laid-back personality. My mom was rescued when she was scared and starving on the side of the road. Even though life was hard for her, she brought me and my siblings into the world, and thanks to the kind humans at Wild Woods Rescue, we’ve all been given a second chance. I’m a little different from my spunky sister Weasel. I prefer taking things slow and enjoying the little moments, whether it’s a gentle play session or a cozy nap by your side. Don’t get me wrong—I love playing and exploring, but I’m happiest when I’m close to people who love me. I’m ready to find my forever family, someone who will love me for my sweet, mellow personality. Could that be you?

Story
Hi, I’m Spot! I’m a happy-go-lucky pup who loves to go with the flow. Whether it’s playing outside, meeting new friends, or just hanging out with my favorite people, I’m always up for it! I have a fun, playful side but also know how to relax when it’s time to wind down. I love everyone I meet—kids, adults, and other dogs—and I’m still young enough to learn all the skills I need to grow into your perfect companion. Could you be my forever family or foster? I’d love to meet you and share my sweet, easygoing personality with you! 😊
