Story
LOWER ADOPTION/TRANSPORT FEE $250 Say hello to Shadow, a 1 1/2-year-old male Lab/German Shepherd mix weighing around 55 pounds. He is house trained. Shadow is a very shy boy who has been with us at rescue since he was six months old. We asked a trainer for help with his shyness, and he had improved by leaps and bounds. He is more playful and confident. We're looking for a warm and caring family who will understand when he's timid and provide him with lots of love and reassurance. Shadow will benefit from a fenced-in yard. Though he's gentle natured and wouldn't hurt a fly, small children may startle him; therefore, a home with older children or adults only would be best. Shadow does well with other dogs and cats. His foster says of him, " Shadow K is an extraordinary dog, he just isn't yet sure how to show it. His heart is filled with love!" Story
Lower Fees! When he came to us, he was already named Bruno which sounds like a tough guy name to us, and Bruno Boy (we added the boy) is anything but! An Lab/Catahoula mix, his puppy weight was between 20 and 25 pounds but when he matures it will probably be between 30 and 35 pounds. Not the biggest dog, this 15 month old isn't the smallest either. With his short and sleek coat of black and white, he's a handsome fellow, and he loves to be stroked. We brought him out of the kill shelter, and once with us in rescue, we discovered that he loves dogs, kids and his foster's cat! No tough guy here! What a sweetie this pup is! (posted 3/19/24, TN) (age updated 8/23/24, 1/28/25) Lower Fees: Adoption Fee: $150.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $100.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** LOWER ADOPTION/TRANSPORT FEE $250January 28, 2025, 11:50 am

(This dog is a lower fee- $150 for adoption and $100 for transport.) This handsome Lab mix is named Holden. He's around 1 year old and weighs between 60 and 65 pounds. He wears a short coat of shiny black that's accented with white on his chest, face and paws. And he looks at the world through eyes of milk chocolate. Holden does very well with other dogs, kids, and his foster's cat! In fact, he's simply a nice dog to have around. (posted 12/7/24, TN) Holden is what we call a Celebrate Home Dog which means his adoption fee is lower. This is because Holden has been with us for a while, and we would like to see him go home with you. This dog is a lower fee- $150 for adoption and $100 for transport.January 22, 2025, 2:43 pm
