Story
Oscar is a Lab/ Rhodesian mix boy that is 3 year old! He loves life and came to the rescue with his siblings when they were young puppies. He was adopted but then life happened and Oscar came back to the rescue. He is a sweet boy and weighs about 60 lbs. This big boy did come back to the rescue with Osteomyelitis in his mandible or lower jaw, possibly from an injury. This is an infection of the bone which is treated with antibiotics. While the infection has been treated, this has left Oscar with a build up of excess bone on his lower jaw. This does not cause pain and also does not require medications  or further treatment. Oscar is doing well now and is a wonderful boy to work with. He is good with dogs, cats and kids, and is HOUSEBROKEN! He has been neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and is heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $250.November 3, 2024, 8:52 am

Story
Grayson is available for adoption through Mailman's Mutts Inc and is currently hanging out with Chris & Kristi at their house. Chris has had this to say about him in the past: He is VERY smart and easily adjusts to anything you ask of him. *Neutered *HW negative/on prevention *House/Crate trained *Cats get his attention but that's it *He is handling our pack well *1-2 years/60 lbs *UTD on vaccines He loves playing ball until you are tired. He sleeps peacefully through the night. They have also placed him in a training program. He is a very VERY high energy boy. Loves to play, thinks he's small enough to sit on your feet (he indeed is not) loves attention and really enjoyed playing outside with me while I was there and I really think he would enjoy having fur buddy to play with of course after proper introductions are made. Let me know if you're interested in meeting this sweet boy and I'll coordinated with Chris to make it happen. Please share so this sweet boy can find his forever home

Story
*Meet Henley* Henley is a calm and gentle soul, neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations. He loves being petted but doesnt jump for attention, exuding a relaxed and affectionate demeanor. He excels at walking on a leash and enjoys being an indoor companion as well as spending time outdoors with people, whether on a leash or in a yard. Henley's rescue story began at a gas station where a now volunteer spotted him. She reports, "He approached me, but I noticed he was emaciated and had ticks. Initially thinking he was blind, I later discovered he wasnt. Despite my sisters dog not liking him, I couldnt leave him behind and took it upon myself to provide him with food and water. A police officer informed me that the pup had been roaming the area for two weeks and that hed been hit by a drunk driver recently, which explained his fear of cars. Over two emotional days, I couldnt shake the worry for his safety, especially with my own dogs intimidating him. After contacting numerous shelters and vets, only Summits responded. Once settled, he enjoyed a ride with me, filling my heart with joy. I cried when I left him, prompting me to volunteer and ensure he knew he was loved. Now, hes the sweetest boy and truly loves his car rides!"   Check out Henley's video: https://youtube.com/shorts/oli3B9JSHGA?si=iTIJGVUEl8RtBQLy   Adoption fee $200 (chipped, fixed, updated on shots) Please visit our website www.summitssanctuary.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.
