Story
Maya has a very sad history but hopefully a bright future! She was found wandering in FWB, heavily pregnant, emaciated and filthy dirty. Her puppies are all weaned and adopted, so now it's her turn. She is shy with strangers and will need a patient, knowledgeable owner to work with her. Maya's adoption fee is $150. Our dog adoption fees range from $95 to $400 and include spay/neuter, microchip, a rabies vaccine and a parvo/distemper vaccine. It also includes a heartworm test. All dogs are current on heartworm and flea prevention. If you see a dog here you are interested in, the best way to get more information is to visit our adoptable dogs album at www.SWSDogs.com. From there you can find the dog and comment on his or her picture which will notify the foster family of your interest. We are a foster-based rescue, so adoptable animals are in private homes in the NW Florida Panhandle. The best way to meet one of our pets is to attend our adoption events on Saturday. To find out where we'll be this week, visit our Facebook page at www.SavingwithSoul.com. Thank you for considering a rescued pet!

Story
We are writing with a bittersweet heart as we look for a loving new home for our dog, Jax. He has been a cherished part of our family, and this decision has not been made lightly. Unfortunately, due to some behavioral challenges, we believe he would thrive in a different environment. Jax is a sweet and affectionate companion who loves to snuggle and enjoys being around people. He loves walks and hiking (very good on leash w/gentle leader and was previously e-collar trained). He is full of personality and brings so much joy to those who get to know him. However, Jax has developed some territorial behavior and food aggression that we have been unable to fully manage with a new toddler in the home. While he is gentle and loving most of the time, he can become possessive around food and certain spaces. We believe Jax would do best in a home with someone experienced in handling dogs with these behaviors, ideally without young children or other pets. Jax still had so much love to give!

These pups are in Andalusia, Alabama too!
