Story
Maizy is a super sweet almost 3 year old lab/pointer cross. She loves to cuddle and lounge with people, and loves to run and relax outside. She was born end of December/beginning of January 2022. She spends most of her time outside in nice weather, and she is crate trained, potty trained, knows basic commands, and uses a dog door. She has never show aggression towards people, and is good with kids. She has been started on bird hunting training. She does not get along with cats or chickens, and another female dog we have has started fighting with her. Before that, she played and interacted fine with the other female dog. Located in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Rehoming fee negotiable to the right people!

She is very food driven and loves treats. She knows basic commands, is house trained, crate trained, and uses a dog door. She has been started on bird dog training. Story
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Jackson! He is currently in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and he is almost ready to show off his new skills! His new abilities include 'sit', 'wave', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Jackson is a dog that loves love! He really wants attention and cuddles from his people. He has done well with the other dogs at PACK too, but can be a bit overbearing with his play sometimes. He is constantly working on controlling his excitment, but needs a firm reminder from time to time. He is very treat motivated & it helps him listen and learn new commands and tricks. Since his play can be a bit overwhelming and rough, we suggest Jackson doesn't go to a home with kids under 10. He is house trained and kennel trained. In his previous foster home, he mastered the doggie door. He has been good in his kennel when he is left alone, but he's also been trusted to not be kenneled and has done well too. We don't have any history of Jackson living with cats. He was so-so when he met a cat with us. If you have a cat and are interested in Jackson, we'd gladly reintroduce him to some and see how he does. Jackson does have bursts of high energy, and we recommend he gets ample amounts of daily exercise. Once he gets an outlet for his energy, he is a cuddly dog who will enjoy the cold months of Wyoming with his person. He'll graduate mid-January, so apply today!
