Story
Buddy-Labradoodle male, 2 yr. (Nov. 2024) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for application. Buddy came to Rescue when his family could no longer care for him. His life was in danger and a friend stepped in to care for him while we help him find a home. Buddy is the real deal. He's typical of his breed, smart and loyal. He's used to living in a family with another dog and with children. Cats are an unknown at this time. The new foster says he's medium to high energy which is normal for his age and breed. He'll enjoy an active lifestyle. Buddy is a medium/large dog, about 50 #. Buddy's adoption fee is $600 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. Hi! My name is Sammi. I am a really adorable pup, and I am just looking for my furever home! My sister and I were found on the side of the road. Our foster thinks we are labradoodles, possibly. I am about 10 weeks old (born around 8-2-24), weigh about 10 pounds, and I love dogs, cats and kids. I am doing so well with all of them in my foster home in South Carolina! I am spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, dewormed, current with all vaccines (as appropriate for my age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. I am all ready to be adopted :) My adoption fee is $450, and covers all of my vetting, and includes transport within the next two weeks, if my new family lives in the northeast USA. ***PLEASE DO NOT FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO ADOPT WITHIN THE NEXT TWO WEEKS**** Please visit https://www.apply.daybeforetherainbow.com/ to fill out an adoption application form or email my rescue at taryn@daybeforetherainbow.com! Story
Fun Facts About Me: Loyal Companion: I’m exceptionally loyal and observant. Once you’re in my circle, I’ll go to the ends of the earth for you. Cuddle Enthusiast: Cuddles are my love language! I have a unique talent for awkwardly jumping into laps and gazing deeply into your eyes, so get ready for some serious snuggle sessions! Dog Lover: I live with three other big pups, and we have a blast exploring the backyard and barking at the neighborhood hooligans. I do need a gentle introduction to new dogs, though. Kids make me a bit nervous, but I’m very intrigued by cats—just want to give them a good sniff! Genetic Diversity: I’m a proud world-wide mutt! My DNA shows I have roots from Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America, making me one-of-a-kind! Healthy & Active: I’m spayed, up-to-date on all my immunizations, and ready for action! I can run FAST, thanks to my athletic genes—one of my ancestors was bred to hunt antelopes! Let’s hit the trails together! Mood Indicator: You can read my feelings by watching my little tail! When I’m happy, it perks up; when I’m excited, it wiggles around like a joystick; and when I’m nervous, it curls downward. Apply today and I can be a part of your family. My fee is sponsored. Story
Hi my name is Curly and I have a great story to tell. I am a good boy that’s shy and unsure at first. People, car rides, and loud noises scare me. So I need a home that is quiet and 1-2 people at most would be best. I do great with other dogs, they bring me out of my shell. I know I’m not for everyone but I am the right one for the special person, who can work with me and go at my slow pace, who won’t get frustrated that the world is sometimes scary to me and I need time and help figuring it out. I really want to be loved and give you love, it will just take time, trust, and understanding. I am kennel trained, house trained, and like the backyard. Leash walks are not my favorite but I am working on that. Since I am scared, I like to be able to go in and out of my kennel when I am scared or just feel like it. If you want a special dog that’s not like everyone else, but will always hold a special place in your heart…. I am your boy! I have been around dogs and cats with no issues. I've also been around kids, but I prefer to keep to myself when little ones are around. I'm also crate and housetrained, neutered, heartworm negative, and have age-appropriate vaccinations!  If you're interested in adopting, please email your phone number to rockcityrescue@gmail.comAugust 20, 2024, 12:05 am

Story
Hi, my name is Moe! If you are looking for a special dog, you are barking up the right tree! What makes me special is that life started out a little shaky for me and has left me more nervous and scared than the average dog. With time, understanding, patience, and building trust I will open up and be the best companion you could want! As the saying goes, I stick to the 3’s. I need 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks of a consistent routine and time to learn it & 3 months to start feeling at home. At first, I am more comfortable with other dogs and people really scare me, so I would do best with an outgoing friendly dog in the house to show me how to feel comfortable and confident. As time goes on, I get more used to humans but would do best in a single-person home or just a couple (too many people or a lot of children will be too much for me). I like my kennel and my safe dark space. I will come around and hang out more when I trust it is safe. I am kennel trained and working on being better with the leash. If you are looking for an amazing but special dog who needs a little bit of a calmer lifestyle, I am your man!!!! Email your phone number to rockcityrescue@gmail.com for more info!
