Story
Meet Ivy! This gorgeous girl is around 1-2 years old. We are unsure what she is mixed with, but we are guessing she has some husky in her due to her antics. She is such a sweet girl and SUPER energetic. She would love a family that goes to the lake, river or has a pool, she is a MAJOR water dog. She is looking for a super active family that can take her on long walks and plenty of adventures. She has done well with dogs she has met here but meet and greets are required. She would do well with children as long as she does get her energy out just due to the jumping around as she can be a wrecking ball at times. If interested in Ivy, the shelter is open Monday-Friday from 10am-3pm pending on if staff is in the building. You can also call the shelter at 804-520-9397 ext. 5 to set up an appointment!

Story
Rin is around 7 months old, not neutered. He has been going back and forth to work with Toni, she is the one who trapped him. He has done really well with her dogs and is fine cats. He has been working on being house trained and crate trained. We suggest Rin be in a home with another dog, to help continue building his confidence. He is nervous meeting new people, but having another dog in the home helps with that as well. We suggest a fenced in yard or leash walking only, no free roaming. Rin panicked the first night of being crate trained, he chewed the bars on the gate and tried finding a way out. He has gotten better with that each night. As you can see in one of the photos, Rin is standing on the desk, he tries to follow Toni everywhere she goes, including jumping the desk to get to her, so keep in mind if you get him, he is going to be a stage 5 clinger lol. If you have any questions or are think you may be the right home for Rin, please give the shelter a call at 804-520-9397 ext 5.
