Story
Ember is a very energetic and fun medium sized pup (55lbs). She's young (1-2yrs) and vibrant and looking for a home where she can participate in family activities like hikes and walks and Netflix nights. She's as good of a snuggler as she is a jogging companion. Her fur is soft and fluffy and she is lower shedding but we CANNOT guarantee hypoallergenic. She is strong and requires a fit owner who can handle a large and active pup. She did have some matting that resulted in dry skin (hence the shaved spot) that was exmained by a vet who performed a skin scraping to ensure there was no mange or underlying condition (test results were negative). She should be kept on a high quality kibble with fish oil supplements. Ember is located in Houston TX and her fee is $400. Complete an application as the first step to adoption. She is fully vetted, chipped, and spayed. Please complete an application at recycleddogsrescue.org if interested.

Story
Auggie was purchased from a breeder in Washington State. His bday is 9/25/23, so hes still youngin. His breed is actually a LAGOTTO ROMANGOLO, however, there wasn't an option in the drop down menu on this site for his breed, so I categorized him as a doodle, as most people think thats what he is. Auggie is hypoallergenic, so he doesn't shed. I think the best home for Auggie is one where he has space to run around, and he could certainly benefit from home dog to play with. He loves to play with other dogs, as we have been taking him to playschool, and the socialization has been great for him. I also think he would do well where there is a male present. He seems to be more obedient with men, and even the trainer he went to mentioned this. Auggie is rambunctious, loves to swim and run, and loves dogs and children. For me, its just been too much to handle with my busy work schedule and children. If Auggie is right for you, I have a nice crate, toys and bag of food

Story
A family friend had to move states and asked us for help rehoming their dog, we don’t know much about him but have had no luck and it’s been about 7 months, he needs to find a home that is loving and will be with him, he’s very sweet and loves attention. Blu is young but we don’t know anything about him but his name. This is urgent as my dogs (2 other big dogs) have been picking on him and attacking him since he’s a new male I think, I believe he’d do better as a lone pet with no other animals unless those animals are good with other dogs. And I’m worried about blu getting hurt, he has only ever been territorial over bones as most dogs are, but hasn’t shown aggression.

Story
Three-year old Justice is an extremely loving and loyal pup, who is hungry for love and longing for his own parents to bond with. Justice is extremely smart and soulful. He is very obedient and eager to please. He is great with commands. As a shepherd, he will follow you everywhere and protect you fiercely. As a lab, he will love to play fetch with you and go for a swim. He is also very intelligent and very low maintenance. He prefers laying at your feet or sitting with you more than anything. When he’s active, Justice loves playing fetch, his favorite game! A fully fenced yard will be mandatory in his life. Justice is good with both dogs and cats. He has had many dog and cat foster siblings and has always gotten along with all of them. We do not know how he is with kids as he has never lived with children. But he is big, so he can knock them down. Therefore we prefer a home without young kids. Justice weighs 75 lbs, and is fully vaccinated for 3 years, neutered, and microchipped. Justice has completed 6 months of board and train, and his trainer will offer complimentary training for life now, either in person or by facetime or video chat. He is a great pup, full of love. He is comfortable around people, and loves car rides. He needs a strong parent who he can look up to, and he will be the best child forever. Story
WHAT AN INNOCENT FACE! Est DOB 12/22/23, weight 32 pounds Hey there, everyone! I’m Milo, and I’m a sweet, happy, playful black Labrador/ Cattle Dog mix fella with a splash of white on my nose and on my chest. I’ve got the prick ears of a Cattle Dog, but my solid black coat and lanky build indicate my Lab heritage. I’m not finished growing, so you might expect me to weigh 45-50 pounds when I’m full grown. I’m one of the sweetest dogs you could ever meet because I love everyone, and of course, everyone loves me back. Could it be because of the always-innocent expression on my face? One of my favorite things to do is fall asleep on top of Foster Mom. True confessions: I snore! I’m smart as a whip, and because I’m very food-motivated, treats have helped me to pick up a few commands very quickly. I’m high-energy, so I love to horse around with the resident dogs in my foster home. I’m curious about the cats, but I haven’t been allowed to meet them yet. Thank heavens Foster Mom rescued me as a stray who was wandering her neighborhood with no collar, tags, or chip. Now I’m ready to find my forever home, and I can’t wait! Could that be with you? Arrange to meet me, and I promise to cover your face with mushy puppy kisses. HOPE ID: D24-0928-0037 If you are interested in Milo and would like to fill out a Dog Adoption Application, please go to: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. If you have questions prior to filling out the application, email us at lisagilchrist16@gmail.com and a volunteer will get back to you.

Story
6 months old Danny was rescued from a high kill Shelter right before his euthanasia, due to lack of space, which is very common in Texas. Danny went to stay in a boarding and soon became boarding favorite. Danny is an absolute lovebug. He is a great companion, who is super adorable, loving, and playful. He is submissive and very sweet and loving puppy He is still growing, and will end up as a medium to large dog. He has a lot of puppy energy but he settles down pretty quickly. Whoever gets him, will have a velcro pup who will give kisses generously and love you loyally. He is current on vaccination, neutered, microchipped and kept on heartworm and flea preventative. Danny is available to go to any state and even Canada to an approved adopter. Adopters must be able to take care of puppy energy, have a fully and adequately fenced in yard for him, and have the time to train him for a positive adult life. Please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com so you could be approved to meet this gorgeous pup via facetime or whatsapp.
