She, her sister Cider, and their parents, Winter and Storm, were strays struggling to survive on their own. Their little family was rescued just in time thanks to an incredible community and a dedicated trapper. Mama Winter was in critical condition and needed emergency surgery, while Cocoa and Cider were weak and malnourished. Sadly, they were the only surviving puppies from their litter, but they never gave up. With love, care, and lots of determination, they have grown into happy, healthy, and loving pups. Now, Cocoa is ready to find a forever family to call her own. She is currently in a foster home in Texas, waiting for the perfect home where she will be loved, spoiled, and cherished for the incredible pup she is. All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Colorado. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
