Story
Meet Benny, a vibrant pup brimming with energy and affection, ready to find his forever home. Benny will thrive in a calm environment with consistent exercise, training, and mental stimulation. He loves and needs his daily walks and is fantastic at playing with other dogs. Benny’s affectionate nature with his humans knows no bounds. While Benny needs further guidance in channeling his excitement and touch of stubbornness, he has shown he is very trainable with a little patience and kindness. He knows how to relax and keep himself entertained with the right chews and toys. He’s trustworthy when left alone in a room while you’re away from home. He is still working on that counter-surfing impulse because he knows all the best food is kept up there! Benny’s ideal home would be with an individual or couple with an active lifestyle who are committed to continuing his training and ensuring consistent leadership. He doesn’t always understand his size, so he would do best in an adult-only home. Benny is looking forward to being a devoted and loved family member. If you're seeking a loving, active, and trainable furry friend, Benny is the perfect match, ready to bring joy and affection into your home. Benny’s adoption fee is $700. He is HW negative, current on all HW/flea preventatives, neutered, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Benny a second chance. Story
Tawny was seen wandering for weeks. People would leave her food periodically but they never thought to help her get off the streets. She was matted, had a grapefruit sized lump on her neck and was severely underweight. Luckily,  a local rescuer saw her and jumped into action. Tawny has now been groomed, treated for her wounds and spayed. She is doing great in her foster home but she needs a home of her own. Tawny is good with dogs of all sizes and children. We estimate that she is about 5 years old and her adoption fee is $400. Apply to adopt here: Adoption application:https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/13108/generic   ##2078570##

Story
Herbert is genuinely the kindest dog. He greets you every morning by trying to bury himself into you. He loves spending every moment he can with people or snuggled up next to another dog. He's a genuine sweetheart. He’s 2 years old, and weighs in at only about 45 lbs.  Best guesses are that Herbert’s a lab / husky mix… maybe with some cattle dog thrown in! If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Hebert is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.September 1, 2024, 12:17 am

Story
Macie is a happy pup with a big smile and kind heart. She has grown up with her family and has helped them welcome 3 babies in the world! She's been wonderful with all three kids (now ages 2.5 through 4.5). Macie isn't one for fetch, but she does love to play tug of war and go on moderate walks. Macie also likes being near her humans most of the time, and can usually be found on the floor around them. She also has a fur sister that she's lived with for 7 years. Unfortunately, her fur sister has some health problems and has grown intolerant of having Macie around. Therefore, Macie is seeking a new home where she can be loved for years to come. Story
Tiger is an all brindled boy with a protection dog attitude, but he is great alone. Quiet in the yard and in a home, but with a group of dogs will bark. He loves to please you. He loves to be loved and cuddle. Tiger still needs to have bones and toys to chew on and loves to play. Walks well on leash, is treadmill trained, can sit and lay down. He is an alpha and will dominate without proper leadership. He listens well and loves praise. He loves to run and exercise. I sometimes think he would be best as a only pet. Can consider a home with other pets with the right household. Grew up with a rescue cat and many other dogs of all ages. I like to be present when he is with other dogs. He does well with the senior dogs in my household, but with too many same age dogs, Tiger will take advantage of the party time. He loves to be outside, and with the right temperature he could probably be outside a lot.
