We simply do not have words, to describe how incredibly sweet Lexi is!! She was sadly used as a breeder dog, and "dumped" with an injured leg, prior to joining our rescue. Lexi recently had the injured leg amputated, but has acclimated to being a "tripod" very well. Her stitches have been removed, and she has received the "all clear" from our vet. Lexi is incredibly well mannered, never makes a peep, great with children, does well with all dogs and cats, and house broken. She would love to have a forever family who is home a lot of the time, loving on her, and giving her lots of snuggles and attention. She would also love to have a sweet doggy friend in the home, for companionship. Lexi is approximately five to six years old and weighs 51 pounds. Wrigley is an absolute adorable doodle, who is fully vetted and microchipped. He currently weighs 62 pounds, so we do feel he will gain additional weight, in the next few months, until he is considered an "adult". Wrigley is very sweet and loving, playful, though can also snuggle on the couch, and be just as content. If you are looking for a playmate for your current dog, Wrigley is your guy!!! He absolutely LOVES playing with other dogs, and has become BEST friends with the foster family's dogs. He most definitely requires another dog in the home, for companionship. Wrigley walks well on a leash, looks forward to his daily car rides, and has a perfect energy level to keep the kiddos entertained! He is currently in foster care with two kitties, and though he does not hurt them, he and the foster's dog do love to chase them around the house, just for fun. *Wrigley does have a coat that sheds, so brushing and keeping his coat maintained will be needed.. Our family situation has changed over the last year with my wife's health and we are not going to be able to continue to take care of Gringo and my wife's. Gringo was in the process of being adopted and the couple that was interested were not able to adopt him in the end.it broke our hearts to see him come back, so now we are not asking for any money. Meet Millie! Millie is a charming and lively 1.5 year old dog with an incredible passion for running and playing. Despite her high energy level, she also enjoys spending time with her human friends, cuddling up on the couch, and getting lots of love and attention. Millie is quite athletic and requires a 6-foot stockade fence as she can easily climb and jump over anything shorter. She is a strong chewer, so durable toys are a must. Millie is still learning how to walk on a leash without pulling and will require ongoing training to help her master this skill. She is already house-trained and crate-trained, making her the perfect addition to any home. While Millie doesn`t do well around cats, she adores male dogs and will thrive in a home with a furry brother or two. Millie is a stunning dark chocolate color with one ear that stands up and the other that stays down. She is an absolute joy to be around and will make a wonderful companion to anyone who has the time and energy to keep up with her lively spirit.Millie`s story is even more inspiring and heartwarming. Millie was actually picked up by animal control as a stray, and while she was there, she gave birth to a litter of puppies. Shortly after giving birth, Millie caught a cold. Unfortunately some of her puppies caught the cold as well which was later diagnosed as Distemper (Millie was not diagnosed with Distemper). Sadly, some of her puppies did not make it, but five of them did, thanks to the loving care and attention they received from their foster! Millie is a survivor and a true testament to the resilience and strength of dogs. Meet Cassian! Hi, I am Cassian!!! For the most part I need a schedule that lets me have outside time and regular potty breaks. I can hang in my crate, but nowhere near as long as my buddies. I am pretty good and creative about helping them keep the mess to a minimum though. Which is pretty great for only being 1 year old! I am beyond super smart and will dig to find water! I lead the pack and beat to my own drum occasionally too. I am pretty laid back and so far get a long with everyone! I have my Foster Nona wrapped around my paw because I am that awesome personality wise! But I know that I need a good human to teach me some new tricks and give me that extra attention that I need to reach my true potential. I can play fetch, but I honestly would rather just run around with the ball in my mouth or lay out over there and chew on the ball for a few before I resume my yard duties of sunbathing or coming in and laying near your feet. I really want to be where ever the action is. I currently live with a toddler and can be a little overwhelming at times for her, but with the right family I would become the bestest big brother a kid(s) could ask for! I am a talker too… but I do know how to quiet down when asked. Lets be best friends!
