Story
We got Hunter as a 8 week old puppy! He was a joy from the beginning. I loved to take him on walks, runs and hikes. As an 9.5 year old dog, he loves to snuggles, lounge around all day and get rubs. Short walks suit him best. He gets sooooooo excited when you get home or someone comes to visit. Many would mistake him for a puppy in these moments. While we loved our many years with Hunter, now that we have a 1 year old we have come to hard realization that Hunter would be happier in another home to live out his life. Our active baby wants to play with Hunter all day long and Hunter wants no part of it. While he has never bitten our baby (or anyone), he does growl often and it scares our baby. Hunter has became more anxious over the last year and we believe it is due to our much more active home. We believe he would be happy in a home without young children around 24/7 and plenty of time to relax to snuggle with his new family.
