In the yard, I will follow you around and put my head on your leg for pets, but don’t let my calm side fool you – if you want to play and have fun, I am SO down for it! I love to play tug of war and chase after toys. I am just happy to be with you, no matter what we’re doing!WHAT I LOVE: I LOVE to get all the scratches. I will push my head into your hand for more love! My second favorite thing is playing with toys. I am super gentle if you take a toy from me, because I am a polite boy with great manners!KIDS: The shelter staff thinks I would do just fine with dog savvy kids that are gentle with me.OTHER DOGS: I love other dogs and go to playgroup at the shelter every day!CATS: UnknownHIS MATCH: I would be so happy to have a family to love on me, scratch my chin, and play fetch! Kip was born December 13, 2024. He is around 50-55lbs and is very tall and lanky! He is great with basic commands. Kips best friend at his former home was a big tuxedo cat! He is neutered and up to date on all vetting! Kip is the absolute sweetest boy. His previous owner taught him to say his blessing before eating and hold your hand while it's said! He will not touch his food until you say "Ameen". Kip is friendly with everyone he meets! Groot is an adorable 5-year-old lab mix that has the cutest German shepherd ears. He has a smaller build for a standard lab. He was surrendered to our rescue, due to his owners moving and not being able to take him and his mother with them. He is very friendly.  Groot loves to play with toys and play fetch.
