Story
Hey Y'all, Grady here. Since I first met you, I have grown HUGE. I fit the category of "Gentle Giant" and "Ninja". I have also been called a horse. But, whatever you want to call me, sweet & kind fits best. January 16, 2024 I turned 1 year old. My foster mom said I weigh 110 lbs. There is nothing more that I love than kisses on my nose and head, scratches, hugs, swiping something from right under your nose, hanging out in my crate, hanging out at your feet, squishing myself into small areas (close to you) for a nap. I love playing in the sprinkler, playing chase with my fur-siblings here in foster care. I am dog social, love my people (nervous at first with new people but warm up quickly), house trained, crate trained, car rides. My mom is a Mountain Cur and dad a Labradoodle. All of my siblings have been adopted. For some reason I am still here. It is not a bad place, actually quite fun. I love the cold weather (we had snow this year).  My ideal furever family would love to snuggle, have patience, go hiking, camping, play in the water (sprinklers are perfect), go for car rides, and go to the beach. I have heard all about it. I think that is for me.

Story
We are seeking a safe and more suitable home for our 6 year old labradoodle, Ziri. Her ideal home would have no children and even a single individual may suit her best. She is incredibly loyal, cuddly, and loves all the attention she can get. She plays well with other dogs (currently lives with two others) unknown with cats but it is likely she could get used to one. Ziri was adopted 4 years ago from another home who was going through divorce. It is unknown to us what her living situation was there but it is evident she has some trauma from her first home. She can become aggressive at times and needs a home where she does not feel she has to be territorial (aka no sharing human attention.) She loves her crate and has never had an accident in the house. She knows basic commands and is very smart. If you are interested in learning more about Ziri we are happy to answer any questions you may have. We are hoping to expand our family and want to find her a home she can be 100% happy in

Story
We are looking to rehome Lucy to a single person, preferably an experienced dog owner (or previous owner). She is a 3-year old Labradoodle, originally from a breeder in NH. We got her at 8 weeks and have spent a lot of time training her. She is very smart, is energetic and loves to play. She’s very athletic and will jump in the air to catch balls. She can also play catch and bring the ball back. She is shy, timid, and very good with other dogs (she’s cautious at first, but warms up). Although she’s very good with dogs, she’s not good with multiple people in the house. We have to rehome her since she’s getting inconsistent training/messages from our kids, and because she’s nervous, she’s lunged at the kids to give the message of “stay away.” This doesn’t work for our family. She needs a consistent message, firm direction from her new owner, and even additional training to build confidence (agility).

These pups are in Providence, Rhode Island too!

Story
weight 38 lbs age: 8 months as of 12/11/24 adoption donation: $599     Daphne is a super sweet and gentle girl. She loves cuddles and ear scratches. Daphne is shy and a bit insecure as she has had a rough beginning. She is looking for a loving home with another dog (or dogs) to help her become her best self. If you have a great pup and are looking for a second Daphne may be the perfect match for you. She will also need a fenced in yard in order to adjust quickly and fully to her forever home.      Daphne was found with her sister Hayden, emaciated and living in a culvert in a rural and remote part of northern Mississippi in an area known as a dumping ground for dogs. Despite her difficult beginning Daphne is a great dog. She loves other dogs and is great with cats. At the rescue in Mississippi she loved to splash in the plastic swimming pool! She also loves to run in the yard and prance in the leaves. Daphne is currently being fostered in a home with two dogs and a cat in New England and is ready to meet her forever family.      Daphne is fully vaccinated, spayed and micro-chipped. She doesn’t have a drop of aggression and is housebroken, as soon as she gets outside, she gets right down to business!          Daphne will make a wonderful addition to your family. Wags is a licensed 501 C3 where one woman takes care of almost 150 homeless and stray dogs many of them have expensive medical needs.. Adoption fees include transport, vaccinations, microchip, and spay or neuter. For more information on Daphne or any of our rescue dogs please email her foster parent Kerry at KerryAnneMulligan@ymail.com  December 18, 2024, 8:46 pm
