Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾✨ Meet Bindi — 65 Pounds of Doodle Energy, Smarts, and Fabulous Hair ✨🐾 Female • 18 Months Old • 65 lbs • Doodle Extraordinaire If you’re familiar with doodles, you already know they come with a few standard features: ✔️ Big personality ✔️ Big heart ✔️ Big energy ✔️ And hair that occasionally requires its own maintenance schedule Bindi checks every one of those boxes — and then adds a little extra sparkle. At 18 months old and 65 pounds, Bindi is right in that fun young-adult stage where she’s learned the basics but still has plenty of playful, goofy doodle enthusiasm to keep life interesting. This girl absolutely loves her people. Like… really loves them. Think “personal fan club president” level devotion. She bonds closely with her humans and wants to be right there with you for all of life’s activities — whether that’s heading out for a walk, running errands, or supervising snack preparation in the kitchen. Because Bindi loves her humans so much, she’d do best as the one-and-only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention without having to share her VIP people. And speaking of activity… Bindi is not applying for the job of Professional Couch Potato. She’s looking for a young, active family that enjoys staying busy and getting out into the world. Her dream schedule might include: • Daily walks or jogs • Weekend adventures • Puzzle toys that make her think • Backyard zoomie sessions • Supervising family activities like a curly-haired life coach Bindi is crate trained, house trained, and already has some great basic obedience skills under her belt. She’s wonderful with people of all sizes — from small humans to tall ones — though she can be a little protective of her favorite humans because she takes her “family security supervisor” role seriously. Hello, my name is Pickles , I'm kind of a big dill... I came all the way from St Thomas, I'm approximately 4 years old weighing 20 pounds. My life has not been good to me, I was living on the streets and people were not nice to me . In my foster home I love the other dogs,big and small, I'm just not sure of the human I am fully vaccinated, neutered & Microchiped.i will require a fenced in yard, my foster Mom says I'm a flight risk !!! ( I really hope I'm not on another flight I was really scared) I like my on the ground. Koda/Varley came to Pet Search in February 2020 as a 12 week old puppy from St Thomas. He was quickly adopted, but then returned to pet search 6 months later. He was a "different pup... a little apprehensive of men. The foster family worked with Koda on trusting men and he was adopted again in May 2021. Koda was returned to Pet Search again because of issues with men and we have been working diligently with training to get him past this hurdle. Koda is 2.5 years old (birthdate 11/1/19) and can be very loving. He loves women and is very responsive to them, but needs a little time to warm up to a man that is soft spoken and will be patient. Koda is better with female dogs that are passive and a little smaller than him and older children. He is housebroken but will have an accident in his crate sometimes. With patience and understanding, Koda will make a great dog for a single woman or a Couple/family with a quieter lifestyle. One of our long term foster… Tuna has been with Pet Search for over 4 years! Please share to help him find a home of his own! Tuna is a 5.5 year old lab/terrier mix surrendered by his owner and spent 6 months in the Shelter in St Thomas before coming to Pet Search. He is medium size, weighing around 45 pounds of energy and love! He is neutered, fully vaccinated, 4DX tested and negative and microchipped. He is good with other dogs his size, but prefers female dogs over males and can be a little too high energy for cats and very young children. He loves to play but equally enjoy snuggle time with his foster family.
