HI - I'M HANK! I'm an almost 2-year-old Black Lab-Pit mix in need of a foster or forever home. I'm a friendly boy who will be loyal once I know and love and trust you. I'm a bit shy and mellow, and incredibly smart. If you adopt me, I'll need some time to adjust but once I do, I'm super sweet. I'm not too concerned about other dogs - though I grew up with my brother, Holt (who also needs a home). I don't like it when other dogs are hyper and in my space, so I may bark at them if they get out of line. I'm a curious and independent guy, who is always interested in the world around me. I walk well on a leash but am strong. I have the potential to be a great protector. I do best in an adult-only home, probably as the only dog (though not necessarily) so I can bond to my person or people. I weigh about 60-65 lbs. Please email for an application.

Hailey is about 8 years old and weighs about 18 pounds. She has had a hard life and is time for her to spend the rest of her years in comfort. She was on the streets for a while, so her hair was matted, covered with ticks, her body had many foxtails embedded including her ears and mouth. Her skin was in bad shape. But now her skin has healed, hair growing back, she has had a dental and her ears treated. Now she is ready for her loving forever home. She deserves to be the only dog in her home. Hailey needs to have a fenced yard to call her own. To meet Hailey, fill out the application at the bottom of our available dogs page on OFOSA.ORG and we will arrange a meeting to see if you and her are a good match. Her adoption fee is $280 for a fully vetted girl..

WOOF - MEET TEAK! Teak is a young and energetic red lab/pit mix in need of a foster or forever home! On paper he's 2 years old, but we think he's just a pup, around 1-1/2. Teak is an 80-pound happy boy who will benefit from some basic training and commands. He's a smart learner, and he needs someone who would love to help him transform into the best dog ever! He is learning slowly to walk on a leash, as nobody ever taught him before, so would do well with someone who has a backyard and room to run, while he gets up to speed. Teak was rescued from an overcrowded California shelter, and was one lucky boy to get saved. He's a handsome dog, and is always happy to see his person. He would also do well with an active person or people who can take him for hikes and other outings. Please email for an application.
