Story
Liesel is a sweet girl with loads of energy. She likes walks, but needs a fenced yard to run and fetch as well. She is dog reactive and when she came to us we were told she does not like other dogs, but that isn't true. She is just dog selective and has spent time with six different dogs while in our care and has done very well. Introducing the dogs in a proper manner is crucial to successfully getting Liesel to accept a new canine friend. She gets very excited when you first come home or greet her and will tend to jump to say HI, but once things get calm, she calms down as well. She has had some training sessions with 3 different trainers and knows some commands. Liesel has calmed down slightly since coming to us, but she will always be a bit high strung and her adopter must understand and accept that. it is just part of who she is. Liesel loves people, both children and adults, and just needs someone to love her for the dog she is. She wants to please and will be loyal and loving forever, if given the chance..

Story
Dewey is a handsome 4 year old, half labradoodle/half golden retriever. He is neutered and up to date on all shots. Dewey is loving and playful and is moderate energy but does have moments of higher energy. He is obedience trained and knows the normal commands. He would do best with a fenced in yard. He is good with kids and currently lives with our 2 year old and 3 year old kids. He gets along with most dogs, especially those he is familiar with. Dewey is potty and crate trained. Dewey is very loved, but because of job changes we can no longer give him the attention he needs and we feel it would be best to rehome him so he can have the life he deserves. Story
Izzy is a 3 year old (guess) miniature Bernedoodle and weighs around 33 pounds. She was rescued from a puppy mill by the Fairfield Humane Society that we have had for about 6 months. She is good around other pets and kids and has never shown any aggression whatsoever. She keeps to herself at the dog park and never fights. Izzy loves to follow you and be your shadow. She grew up in a puppy mill so she can be quirky and needs training, but she is lovable and sweet. She is very food motivated. We are about 75% potty trained, she just but doesn’t have a sign that she needs to go out yet. Izzy has night time seizures since a reaction from heartworm meds. We give one dose of medicine before bed and she has been seizure free since and may be able to wean off them eventually. Izzy will make a good companion for someone with time and experience training dogs if you give her a chance.
