A good pup but human Mommy has major medical issues keeping her in the hospital and away from doggie. Knight shots are up to date and he can be neutered if you like. I just want him to go to a safe and happy home with people who will have time for this active breed.

Story
Hi! My name is Sydni. I am a really adorable pup, and I am just looking for my furever home! My sister and I were found on the side of the road. Our foster thinks we are labradoodles, possibly. I am about 10 weeks old (born around 8-2-24), weigh about 10 pounds, and I love dogs, cats and kids. I am doing so well with all of them in my foster home in South Carolina! I am spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, dewormed, current with all vaccines (as appropriate for my age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. I am all ready to be adopted :) My adoption fee is $450, and covers all of my vetting, and includes transport within the next two weeks, if my new family lives in the northeast USA. ***PLEASE DO NOT FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO ADOPT WITHIN THE NEXT TWO WEEKS**** Please visit https://www.apply.daybeforetherainbow.com/ to fill out an adoption application form or email my rescue at taryn@daybeforetherainbow.com! Thanks for checking me out!

Story
Gabby is a wonderful dog. We live in a community of about 35 homes and all dogs are walked on a leash. My heart breaks that she is unable to do her favorite thing which is run on a daily basis. There are no dog parks or fenced areas around us. The small children in our home let her out mistakenly and she runs. She does return home but I don’t want her to be run over. She has had 2 seizures in 8 months so we started her on $25 per month anti-seizure med. One seizure was due to toxicity of flea meds We do not know reason for second seizure so chose to be safe and begin meds. So loving. Needs a fenced in location where she can run. She lives inside but I believe she could adjust to outside. It’s because we love her so much that we want a home where she has fun running and playing. I would want to visit with owners and see her potential home.

Story
Gunner is a true 80lb Gentle Giant who craves love and affection. Surrendered because his owners spent long days at work and Gunner was kept in a crate which he often broke out of in order to run free….. He bonded to me immediately and follows me everywhere…..he thinks he’s a lap dog and loves to snuggle…I’m sure he will bond with his next person also as he just wants to please and be loved! Overall, he’s very well behaved and knows basic commands like sit, down, shake, wait and stay. Walks well on a leash…..my only complaint is he gets overly excited and jumps up, and doesn’t know his own strength …..we are currently working on this and he is very much a puppy and will be 2 in December. For this reason, I don’t recommend children in the mix as he could easily knock them over. He is up to dates on shots, neutered , microchipped and on heartworm meds. I’ve rescued and trained many German Shepherds over the years, but in all honesty, I’ve never met a dog as smart as this one…..and his total purpose in life seems to be to enjoy every moment and have fun …..he constantly cracks me up with his silly antics….and I lovingly call him the Doofus’s!! He’s exceptional, and so his new handler must be also! He'd prefer someone who is home a lot or works from home but he’d love to have another dog to wrestle and play with….he loves teasing with a tug toy….and a secure fenced yard….he can be a Houdini but will come to the front door to see what you’re doing! Has done well with my cats and played non stop with my miniature Golden Doodle. To arrange a meet and greet email or text 828-699-9372 Fenced yard is a must, vet reference and home visit…..I want the very best for this boy….is that you?

Story
My daughter got Duke from a friend of a friend when he was only 8 weeks old. We were told he is half lab and half husky (hence his one blue eye) He is a super sweet boy but definitely a retriever. He gets along well with humans/children, cats, and other dogs. He turned a year old on June 27th, 2024 so he is still young and full of energy! He loves to play with the stray cat that comes in our fenced in yard. He is up to date with all shots and neutered. I want him to go to a kind and loving home. He does well inside and outside and would do best in a home with other dogs that he can play with. He loves to play tug of war, fetch (although he makes you work for the stick to get it back 🤣) and he loves children! With our busy schedules (both of us work 2 jobs now) it has become hard to be with him as much as we/he would like. It breaks my heart that we have to rehome him but it is what is best for him and us at this time! Please help us find him a loving home 🙏
