Howdy folks, my name is Luka, and I was one of 13 dogs and puppies living in a San Antonio Texas home when our owner passed away. Her grown daughter was surprised to find us all and reached out to 4 Little Paws Rescue for help, and they did! We all went to various foster homes, all vaccinated, all microchipped, the adults spayed/neutered, and now most of us are ready to find forever families! I am a handsome Labradoodle, about 2 years old, weigh 80.2 lbs and I’m a happy friendly boy with lots of energy for playing or activities and would LOVE to have a built-in doggy friend when I get adopted. I get along great with everyone, toddlers to senior citizens, big dogs and small dogs, playing gently with small dogs, and kindly with toddlers, always trying my best not to accidentally knock them over. My foster mom says I do everything with love and excitement and don't seem to realize how big I am! I live to play fetch and tug-o-war, and I love squeaky stuffed animals. I’m sweet and loving, not into kisses, but I love to sit by your feet and sleep under the bed at night. I’m well-behaved in a home, don't chew or guard anything, I’m housebroken, love going for walks, and always excited to go for a ride in the car. I’m George, I weigh 15 lbs and I’m a bit less outgoing than Garrett, very sweet and very snuggly and I don't mind letting him be the pack leader. Ember is a very energetic and fun medium sized pup (55lbs). She's young (1-2yrs) and vibrant and looking for a home where she can participate in family activities like hikes and walks and Netflix nights. She's as good of a snuggler as she is a jogging companion. Her fur is soft and fluffy and she is lower shedding but we CANNOT guarantee hypoallergenic. She is strong and requires a fit owner who can handle a large and active pup. She did have some matting that resulted in dry skin (hence the shaved spot) that was exmained by a vet who performed a skin scraping to ensure there was no mange or underlying condition (test results were negative). She should be kept on a high quality kibble with fish oil supplements. Ember is located in Houston TX and can be picked up there or we can discuss transport options. Her fee is $850. What a young and silly boy sporting a wiry goatee! Tucker is a 2 year old Labradoodle and he is looking for his new family. He has traded in outdoor farm life for indoor living and thinks it is really swell. Initially he is a little hesitant about meeting new people, but a treat in hand helps him forget his fear and he is happy to meet new people. He fostered in a home with multiple dogs, but we have found that when he is one of two dogs, he tries to protect his new family from the other dog so we prefer to place him in an only dog home. He is hesitant about getting in a car, but once he is in, he is a great rider and seems to enjoy it. He is a very large boy and currently weighs 70#s He is very happy to hang around the house and get pets or to go out in the fenced yard and poke around while is foster mom does yard work. While we are not up to speed on all of the nomenclature for doodles, we do know his mother was the lab and his father was the poodle. His hair is actually great as it is wavy and wiry, but not the grooming nightmare of most doodles. If you have an active family and are looking for a doodle with a great personality that does not have the crazy grooming needs of the curly coats, Tucker may be just the guy for you.
