What a young and silly boy sporting a wiry goatee! Tucker is a 2 year old Labradoodle and he is looking for his new family. He has traded in outdoor farm life for indoor living and thinks it is really swell. Initially he is a little hesitant about meeting new people, but a treat in hand helps him forget his fear and he is happy to meet new people. He fostered in a home with multiple dogs, but we have found that when he is one of two dogs, he tries to protect his new family from the other dog so we prefer to place him in an only dog home. He is hesitant about getting in a car, but once he is in, he is a great rider and seems to enjoy it. He is a very large boy and currently weighs 70#s He is very happy to hang around the house and get pets or to go out in the fenced yard and poke around while is foster mom does yard work. While we are not up to speed on all of the nomenclature for doodles, we do know his mother was the lab and his father was the poodle. His hair is actually great as it is wavy and wiry, but not the grooming nightmare of most doodles. If you have an active family and are looking for a doodle with a great personality that does not have the crazy grooming needs of the curly coats, Tucker may be just the guy for you. This sweet, gentle boy is a certified cuddle enthusiast who bonds deeply with his people once he feels safe. While the world can be a little overwhelming for him, having a confident dog friend by his side makes all the difference. Copper must go to a home with a friendly, confident dog to help show him the ropes and give him the courage he needs. With a buddy by his side, Copper blossoms-he's more willing to meet new people and even enjoys playful adventures. On his own, he's quite timid and may hide until he feels secure. At home, Copper is house trained and loves to relax with his family, soaking up all the affection he can get. Once he's comfortable, his playful, energetic side shines-he's a big fan of hikes and other outdoor activities. He is house trained as long as he is kept on a routine. He is nervous of young kids and would likely do best in a home with kids 10+. With slow introductions, he is doing well with his foster's cats.
