Story
Call us crazy---but the vet says this little chonk is a doxi lab mix. Clearly lab head, but had a long body with chonky little legs. So use your imagination where that comes from--doxi? Basset? One thing for sure, he is so friendly and cute. Loves the other dogs in his foster home and is a big time snuggler, giving kisses and enjoying his belly rubs. Poor guy and his sibling were found after being dumped right before a deep freeze. He hit the jackpot when the kids in the neighborhood knew just where to bring them--to our amazing foster who has given them the best home, getting them ready to come north for their furever. Thank you for choosing rescue. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT US BY EMAIL OR PHONE TO TELL US YOU ARE INTERESTED IN DALE. We are all volunteers and we cannot move forward without your application. If you would like to be considered to adopt him go to our website and fill out an application. www.sunnypawsrescue.org. Be sure you receive a confirmation email after submission and someone will be in touch promptly.

Story
Meet Raven! This sweet cuddle bug is 2 years old and full of love to give! She is a recent arrival in our shelter and she instantly has become a new favorite. She is so friendly and wants to just follow you around for pets. We were told by her previous owners that she is a bit needy, and since she has been here we noticed a little bit of nervousness and separation anxiety. She is really good and just needs a family that will understand her and give her the chance she deserves. She is almost ready to go home, she just needs an exam by out vet! She is mostly potty trained (she has had a few accidents) but we suspect this is just nerves and adjusting to shelter life. Do you think Raven would be your perfect pet? Story
Hey Y'all, Grady here. Since I first met you, I have grown HUGE. I fit the category of "Gentle Giant" and "Ninja". I have also been called a horse. But, whatever you want to call me, sweet & kind fits best. January 16, 2024 I turned 1 year old. My foster mom said I weigh 110 lbs. There is nothing more that I love than kisses on my nose and head, scratches, hugs, swiping something from right under your nose, hanging out in my crate, hanging out at your feet, squishing myself into small areas (close to you) for a nap. I love playing in the sprinkler, playing chase with my fur-siblings here in foster care. I am dog social, love my people (nervous at first with new people but warm up quickly), house trained, crate trained, car rides. My mom is a Mountain Cur and dad a Labradoodle. All of my siblings have been adopted. For some reason I am still here. It is not a bad place, actually quite fun. I love the cold weather (we had snow this year).  My ideal furever family would love to snuggle, have patience, go hiking, camping, play in the water (sprinklers are perfect), go for car rides, and go to the beach. I have heard all about it. I think that is for me.
