Story
If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an Adoption Questionnaire at  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/43315/gener.Dog's Name:   Boh - COURTESY POSTEstimated Breed :   Standard LabradoodleApproximate Age:  7 yearsApproximate Weight:  55 lbsCurrently Living at:  FosterAdoption Fee:  $400.00 DOG'S DESCRIPTION:  Boh is a standard red Labradoodle and weighs 55 pounds. He has typical doodle energy and loves long walks, hiking and playing fetch.  Boh loves to cuddle and truly believes in his heart he is a lap dog.  This smart guy knows how to sit, stay and speak (bark). He can be a bit nervous upon initial meet but once you are part of his family he settles in.  He can be a bit anxious when meeting new people and other animals so slow proper introduction is best for this guy.  Boh would thrive best in a home with no children (since kids always have friends that come over which would most likely would stress him out.  He also requires a fenced in backyard to get his playtime on since he loves to play fetch.  If you have an adult only home that loves doodles.. get your app in to spend the holidays with Boh  Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/  or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSponsor Me!    Make a  tax-deductible donation  today by visiting us at http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/donate/. Story
Sorry no curls for us even though our Dad was a beautiful white purebred Standard Poodle. Our Mom was a smaller shorter haired Lab mix, so I guess we took after her as far as the hair goes. There were three pups with curly hair, but they found homes right after they were weaned. We are absolutely gorgeous though and some of us have a little scruffy hair around our muzzles. All of us are super friendly and we adore everyone that we meet…adults as well as kids. We’re pretty outgoing, fairly active and we love to play. We also love kids, get along great with other dogs and we really don’t know what to think about kitty cats…they sort of scare us lol. We are sure to bring a whole lot of fun to some lucky family. Birdie is right at 4 months old (dob 6/12/24) and weighs 19 pounds at the time of this posting (10/8/24). She has been spayed, micro-chipped, fecal tested, is current on all vaccinations, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400. Birdie is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and her fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.
