Hi there! I’m Sir Maximus, but you can call me Max! I’m a 3-year-old, 50-pound Labradoodle, with a golden blonde coat that’s just perfect for snuggles. I was surrendered by my previous owner. I’ve been placed with my pretty cool foster mom and quite a few new dog friends but now I’m looking for my forever home! I’m a super outgoing guy who loves to meet new people and make new friends. I’m really friendly and love to hang out with everyone in the house. Oh, and if you have a cat, don’t worry! I’m totally fine with them and won’t cause any trouble. One of my favorite things to do is stand by the back door and watch the yard. I like to keep an eye on everything going on outside—it’s my version of entertainment! I’m house-trained, which, let's be honest, makes me kind of a catch. I will try my best not to have ANY accidents in my forever home, although I hope you understand that they do sometimes happen, especially when adjusting to a new environment. I promise that if I have an accident, with a little housetraining reminder (i.e., yummy treats and praise when I do my business outside), I'll be back in no time! I have pretty nice hair, if I say so myself! The humans that have taken care of me so far enjoy it because I don't shed nearly as much as some of my other canine buds because I have hair and not fur. Now, I do require a visit to the doggy hairstylist regularly because without a wash, cut, and blow dry, my hair is a complete mess. Knots are no fun!! Besides, I have a reputation to keep up. He's an active dog, who needs an experienced owner/family with an active lifestyle to keep him mentally and physically challenged. A home without small children and cats would be best. He may be too exuberant for them. Palmer gets along well with other dogs. His adoption fee is $300 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. Ember is a very energetic and fun medium sized pup (55lbs). She's young (1-2yrs) and vibrant and looking for a home where she can participate in family activities like hikes and walks and Netflix nights. She's as good of a snuggler as she is a jogging companion. Her fur is soft and fluffy and she is lower shedding but we CANNOT guarantee hypoallergenic. She is strong and requires a fit owner who can handle a large and active pup. She did have some matting that resulted in dry skin (hence the shaved spot) that was exmained by a vet who performed a skin scraping to ensure there was no mange or underlying condition (test results were negative). She should be kept on a high quality kibble with fish oil supplements. Ember is located in Houston TX and can be picked up there or we can discuss transport options. Her fee is $850.
