WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾✨ Meet Bindi — 65 Pounds of Doodle Energy, Smarts, and Fabulous Hair ✨🐾 Female • 18 Months Old • 65 lbs • Doodle Extraordinaire If you’re familiar with doodles, you already know they come with a few standard features: ✔️ Big personality ✔️ Big heart ✔️ Big energy ✔️ And hair that occasionally requires its own maintenance schedule Bindi checks every one of those boxes — and then adds a little extra sparkle. At 18 months old and 65 pounds, Bindi is right in that fun young-adult stage where she’s learned the basics but still has plenty of playful, goofy doodle enthusiasm to keep life interesting. This girl absolutely loves her people. Like… really loves them. Think “personal fan club president” level devotion. She bonds closely with her humans and wants to be right there with you for all of life’s activities — whether that’s heading out for a walk, running errands, or supervising snack preparation in the kitchen. Because Bindi loves her humans so much, she’d do best as the one-and-only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention without having to share her VIP people. And speaking of activity… Bindi is not applying for the job of Professional Couch Potato. She’s looking for a young, active family that enjoys staying busy and getting out into the world. Her dream schedule might include: • Daily walks or jogs • Weekend adventures • Puzzle toys that make her think • Backyard zoomie sessions • Supervising family activities like a curly-haired life coach Bindi is crate trained, house trained, and already has some great basic obedience skills under her belt. She’s a smart girl who truly enjoys learning, and with continued structure and activity, she’ll absolutely thrive. She’s wonderful with people of all sizes — from small humans to tall ones — though she can be a little protective of her favorite humans because she takes her “family security supervisor” role seriously. And of course, as a doodle, Bindi will need regular grooming to keep those fabulous curls looking their best. Think of it less as maintenance and more as spa day for your dog. Freshly brushed doodles are basically walking teddy bears. Bindi is the kind of dog who will fill your home with energy, laughter, and endless loyalty. With the right active family, she’ll be an incredible companion who’s always ready for the next adventure — and always ready to remind you that life is better with a doodle by your side. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let Bindi bring the doodle energy, the curly cuddles, and the joyful chaos into your life. 🐶💛

Meet Gusty Pointer/Lab mix (best guess) • 7 years old • 75 lbs • Neutered male Gusty is a gentle, laid-back sweetheart who lives for cuddles and being near his people. He’s a big lap dog at heart and loves lounging in the same room as his humans. He is house trained, crate trained, and great with dogs and kids. Gusty is low energy and happy with a walk every day or two, plus some time to explore outside. He’s quiet, rarely barks, and does well on leash (may pull a bit when excited). Home Notes Not cat-friendly Medium-to-heavy shedder Great in the car and enjoys new places Gusty is healthy, up to date on vaccines, and ready for his next chapter. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate, easygoing companion, Gusty is your guy.March 7, 2026, 10:05 pm

Story
Elliana They gave me a fancy name at last! Can you believe it? I have been used as a breeder dog for years and years and then dumped at the local pound with a mammary gland tumor that you could play tennis with!! Who does that!!! At least that is what my foster mom thinks my life has been like. I sat there in a cage at animal control for 4 weeks before anyone would think about pulling me out of there but my foster mom said that she had to take me home so that I would have a chance to be a beloved pet before I die. Not that I am planning to do that anytime soon, but you never know. Anyhow, I went to the vet right away and had that big nasty thing taken off my stomach and the vets knew right away what it was and what it was from. They took out the baby making bits as well, so I won’t have to go through having my babies and then losing them right away to being just a baby and money making factory for somebody. Sheesh….get a job!! I have some issues, I won’t lie, but I am starting to kind of get used to being out of a cage, where I learned to circle around and around as there wasn’t a lot of space in those things. I can walk in a straight line and the more I get time outside, the more I am enjoying the fresh air and smells in the grass. I will revert to circles when I am nervous but Rome wasn’t built in a day and I have only had freedom for a couple of months now. I don’t have many teeth, as the ones I did have were rotted and broken from trying to eat the bars I suppose. I startle easily from the lack of being held and loved in my former life, and will try to “gum” you if I pick me up too quickly. But speaking to me and touching me before you pick me up will let me know you are there and going to be gentle with me. I am still getting used to the being held part, and sometimes can’t tolerate it very long, but I am learning and going slow is really helpful to me. I am learning what good food tastes like, and what a soft bed feels like, and while I have pretty limited vision to see things, I can follow my nose and it helps me to find everything I need to get around. Foster mom leaves me a puppy pad to potty on in the house if I have to go at night, and I am pretty good at using it. It took a while to figure out that is what it was for, but also, if I potty outside after meals, I am good if I keep to a schedule. So that is my story. If you are interested in giving a blind old lady a soft landing for the rest of my life, let me know. Local adoption in Texas only please.

Story
I’ll Be There in a Flash! ⚡🐾 That’s how I got my name—and trust me, I live up to it! I’m a medium-sized male Black Labrador Retriever mix with a fun-loving personality and energy to spare. I’m always ready to jump into action, whether it’s playtime in the yard, a long walk, or an adventure with my favorite people. In my previous home, I had dog friends that I got along with really well, so I’d love to have a playful canine buddy again! I enjoy being part of the action and having friends to run and romp with. I have lots of energy and will need an active lifestyle to grow into a healthy, happy, well-balanced dog. Daily exercise, playtime, and fun activities will help me be my very best self. Got kids? Great! Let’s keep each other busy and make some awesome memories together. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic companion who’s always ready to go, I’ll be there… in a Flash! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
