Story
June is a 4 year old labradoodle. She is healthy, up to date on her medical exams, shots, spayed and chipped. We have loved having June as part of our family for the past 4 years but our lives have changed since that time. She is an active girl who needs adventure and we are not able to be the best fit for her. She has done well with our other large dog and our infant, but would do better in a home with older kids. She is kennel trained, needs some more leash work, and is good with basic commands. It breaks our hearts to feel like we are failing her and we hope to find her an active home where she can truly live her best life.

Story
Joplin loves other dogs but likes to play rough. He takes correction well and has been to doggy daycare. When it comes to kids, he can be kinda rough when excited so maybe not small children. He will steal food from kids if the opportunity presents itself. Joplin is potty trained and goes into his kennel easily. He is a people please and listens when you say "no. He knows commands sit, down, kennel, shake, and spin. Joplin has come pretty far with his indoor manners. He hasn't had an accident inside in months, hasn't chewed any shoes lately, not generally destructive indoors. I buy him large beef cheek rolls to chew on because smaller chews do not last very long lol. He is a very active dog and can be obsessive over things like the squirrels and birds in the backyard. I have a 6 foot privacy fence that he used to try to dig under but has not lately. He still digs holes in the yard if not watched though, he loves to dig! He really likes to hang out in the yard no matter the weather. Joplin is kind of hard to walk as he gets distracted by anything that moves and will cross in front of and behind you. Its better to walk him on a quieter path, not near traffic and loads of people. He is extremely friendly but does get spooked by unexpected things on walks, will bark and put up hackles. When he's excited, his manners go out the window. He will start jumping on people and sometimes will get your hand instead of the toy if playing. When we wind down for the night, Joplin loves to cuddle. He has no boundaries and wants to be in your lap or sleeping as close to you as possible. Definitely likes the company of other dogs around the house. He's a pretty big sweetie in general, not at all aggressive. I think he would appreciate a home with more activity than mine (more people to play with and also a dog that likes to play)

Story
Bruce is such a sweet boy but it takes a little bit of time for him to trust new people and relax. Bruce is smart and thrives with good leadership. He will always need a strong leader and proper introductions to new people. He knows sit, shake, and wait. His boarding buddy has been working with him on not pulling on leash as well as how to handle strangers who may be near him on walks. Bruce enjoys playing with other dogs in doggy daycare. He has some separation anxiety when left so he needs to be crated when the humans are gone. Bruce needs a quiet home without a lot of visitors and without children. He is waiting in boarding and we hope this sweet boy gets the family he deserves soon! Bruce was deemed a potentially dangerous dog (PDD) by the city and must have an adopter or foster out of Wichita city limits.

Story
Loki came to us from the shelter in Ponca City, OK in late spring 2021. Loki is super sweet on walks. He is a typical herding breed and gets excited and can nip at times which is why no children in the home would be best. He needs consistent training and he corrects well verbally or with a water bottle. He sits like a champ for a treat and loves to shake. He will need a structured home and strong leader to bring out his best qualities. He is a smart boy and would benefit so much in a foster or adopter's home so that he can have the love and attention he deserves. Loki has not done well meeting other dogs and at this time, will need a home without other dogs to be safe.
