Story
Ember is a very energetic and fun medium sized pup (55lbs). She's young (1-2yrs) and vibrant and looking for a home where she can participate in family activities like hikes and walks and Netflix nights. She's as good of a snuggler as she is a jogging companion. Her fur is soft and fluffy and she is lower shedding but we CANNOT guarantee hypoallergenic. She is strong and requires a fit owner who can handle a large and active pup. She did have some matting that resulted in dry skin (hence the shaved spot) that was exmained by a vet who performed a skin scraping to ensure there was no mange or underlying condition (test results were negative). She should be kept on a high quality kibble with fish oil supplements. Ember is located in Houston TX and can be picked up there or we can discuss transport options. Her fee is $850. Ollie is a 4 yr old, medium sized, lanky goldendoodle boy. He's very sweet, fun, and happy-go-lucky. He loves all people and has never met a stranger! He's housetrained, knows a few tricks and is just the perfect dog! He gets along well with other dogs and with children of all ages but hasn't been around cats. Ollie can't wait to be your new best friend! Ollie is located in Houston TX so can only do video chat meet n greets with approved adopters (i.e. you need to submit your application and be approved first). His fee is $850. Story
Scooter was rehomed from a family out of state. He is a loving dog who loves to play. He is a little over a year and still learning his size, weighs 65lbs. He did not have much exposure as a pup, and needs a relaxed environment. He can have a lot of energy, and would need a yard. He loves to play, and cuddle. He can bark at strange noises and when he wants attention. However, is usually quiet in the crate unless he whines to signal that he needs to go. He would do best as an only dog and adult-only or no-children household. And since he is still learning his size, he may be best suited for an experienced adopter. He has a crate, toys, and food to take to a new home.

Full transparency, Walter is a high needs dog with a bite history. He has bitten both owners, our child (1year old) and one guest. Walter is a 4 year old labradoodle purchased from a breeder as a puppy. He is sweet (most of the time), loves walks, chasing after a ball, seek and find games, and seek and destroy games. His high needs: -highly anxious. Loud noises, new people, etc. -resource guarding -reactive -sensitive to grooming (both professional and owner) -barks for attention -jumps when greeting -needs regimen/ schedule and lots of exercise for best behavior He knows all basic commands: sit, stay, down, roll, shake, come He loves kongs, destroying cardboard boxes, squeaky toys, walks and car rides. We are very sad to rehome him but cannot give him the attention he needs and do not want to live in fear he will bite our young child again. Most of his behavior is predictable if you are able to read his body language.

FLORA - SPRING ADOPTION SPECIAL $50 Poor Flora was extremely stressed in the shelter. Flora is a 2 year old, 50 pound, female Lab mix that was brought in as a stray. She is a very friendly and playful girl. But, she has been hesitant toward certain new people. She enjoyed meeting shelter staff, is doing pretty good in her foster home. She has been wary of new people, at first. Flora does warm up pretty quick. She loves a variety of toys, especially balls and ropes. She loves to play fetch, and she can be a very playful girl if you engage with her. She can also be very cuddly and will come over for petting often. Flora would do much better in a home of her own. Especially not having to be kenneled as much. She is utd on all vetting, except spay. We are working on getting her an appt set up. Her adoption fee is $50.
