Links is a beautiful 4-year-old mixed breed dog who is looking for her forever home. She`s house-trained, kennel-trained, and knows a variety of basic commands including sit, stay, come, uh-uh, wait, and ok. Links is a dream on a leash, making her an excellent walking companion.This lovely girl is full of energy and loves to explore the great outdoors, especially when hiking (she`s great at `getting the zoomies`!) Links adores water and enjoys car rides, so she`s always ready for an adventure. When she`s not out and about, Links loves attention and belly rubs. She`s treat-motivated, which makes training and bonding with her a joy.Links gets along well with other dogs and enjoys initiating play with her current canine foster sibling. While she may not immediately play with new dogs, she is always pleasant when meeting them. However, Links prefers a home without small kids or cats.Though she is people-selective, Links’ loyalty and affection are unmatched once she trusts you. She prefers indoor lounging but is making great progress with spending more time outside.

Leroy needs a forever home that is willing to accept him for who he is. He has been working on his fear reactivity and has come so far!!! He LOVES to snuggle, gets along with his furry foster siblings, and loves his training games! Leroy is on puppy prozac. He is currently getting sedated for grooming sessions while his foster mom works on desensitizing him to a brush! Leroy may require a little extra work, but adopting him will be the most rewarding thing you ever do!

This sweet man is Rend Lake. He is a 3 year old black lab mix. He can be a bit shy but is truly the sweetest boy once he warms up to you (which doesn`t take very long if you have treats). He came to TAPS after he was found dumped at Rend Lake in a crate. He enjoys people snuggles, sniffing everything on long walks, and carrying a stuffed toy in his mouth to help his anxiety. His love for toys can sometimes cause him to be toy aggressive towards other dogs so maybe being the only dog in the home is the right fit. And due to him being found shoved in a crate, he is NOT a fan of being crated. He is such a loveable boy! This sweet boy is looking for tons of love and tons of stuffies.
