Story
Sugar Bear is a sweet mini size labradoodle (about 30 lbs). We purchased her as a puppy from a breeder in 2016. We have loved having her in our family, she is gentle with small kids and other pets. Last year she suffered from SARDS which made her suddenly go blind. Since that time, she requires more supervision than we can provide. In a new home, we are hoping she has a caretaker that can provide her with lots of love and attention.

Story
Toby is a 3-year-old Generation 2 Labradoodle, very soft, very curly, and completely non-shedding. He is full of energy and fun, always up for a walk, a swim, or a game of fetch. More than anything, he just loves being with his people. He is great with other dogs, but his playfulness can sometimes overwhelm. He needs work on when to take no for an answer and give space when playtime is over. He is very social and loves to be part of whatever you are doing. Car rides, hiking, fetch, or couch cuddles; he is up for it all. He has not been around cats and will chase squirrels and birds if given the chance. A house with a fenced in yard is preferred. He does well in a kennel, and will let you know when he needs to go out. Looking for a loving family, with lots of playtime and cuddles!

Story
Do you love snuggles and cuddles?  Arlo, a 1-year-old labradoodle, came to us after a difficult experience in a home where he was attacked by both a protective mother dog and the male dog. He’s healing quickly and will soon be ready to find his forever home.   Arlo is as precious as he is handsome! His sweet personality makes him a favorite. We have had 100’s of dogs walk through our doors as a foster, but Arlo is a true favorite. I need him to find his forever home before my husband decides we should keep him.    We can't wait to see him thrive in a loving home where he can get all the care and attention he deserves.   Age?Arlo just turned 1! DOB: December 10, 2023   Favorite activity? Arlo loves to cuddle but love to play with toys.    Crate Trained? He absolutely hated the crate when he first got here, but he’s starting to settle in.    Potty-training- Arlo is house trained but did have an accident when he first arrived.  How does he do with kids? He’s an absolute love.    How does he do with other dogs? He gets along great with other dogs.  He does love to play.    How does he do with cats? He’s terrified of the cat!      Is he Hypoallergenic? Who knows! While we would love to say all doodles are hypoallergenic, nobody can really guarantee that.  It’s a mix between a dog who is considered “hypoallergenic” and a dog who isn’t. So, we have no idea which side wins on this one.     How big will he get? He’s full grown and weighs about 30lbs.    Training? He’s a smart boy so training should be fun with him.    He’s looking for a home that will love his snuggles as much as he loves giving them. A home that will give him lots of exercise and let him play with all the toys!   What's included in his adoption fee?  His adoption fee is $550 and includes each animal being current on age appropriate vaccinations including DHPPL, bordetella, influenza, and rabies. De-wormed for any internal parasites (round worms, hook worms, tape worms and whipworms), neutered and micro-chipped. Each of our dogs also receive flea and heartworm medication every month.   We look to place our dogs in homes where they are loved, allowed on furniture and treated like family so please do not apply if you are looking for an "outside dog" or if you have any dogs who live outside only. He’s a young guy so for the safety of all involved, we want you to consider this when applying to adopt. If you're looking for a dog who will keep you warm at night or snuggled by your side while watching TV, one who will enjoy playing in the yard, or one who’ll enjoy going and doing whatever the day finds, this may be the guy for you. Arlo’s wish list consists of an inside forever home. A home with lots of toys and pet parents who understand the time commitment that a new puppy requires. We’d like to see Arlo have a fenced in yard to be able to roam and play, but that’s not a deal breaker.    If you think you have the perfect home for Arlo and have questions, please contact us at HootiesHaven@yahoo.com We do out of state adoptions, but require you to come here and meet the pup if you are approved to adopt. Please feel free to ask for more details. We work hard to place our fosters in the very best homes. Please be aware that we have a lengthy application. Our application weeds out those who are not serious about adopting. When filling out the application, please be sure to include as much information and be as detailed as possible- your explanation could be what sets your application aside from the rest.    Please, if you are not serious about adoption, or if you are considering another dog, we respectfully ask you to please not proceed as our volunteers have other full time jobs and reading through applications and calling vet references is time consuming.   Please know, if you’re asked to come for a meet and greet, it’s just that- you are coming to meet the dog. We are the dogs advocate, so we are watching to see how the dog interacts with the family, and how the family interacts with the dog.  Our goal is to place all of our dogs in the home that’s best suited for them.    Link to Arlo’s Adoption Application:    https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/22197/generic   IMPORTANT MESSAGE  Our adoption interviews are being held strictly by invitation and appointment only. We are not be open for walkins. ##2272877##

Story
Are you looking for a young dog or older puppy that's already trained? Then look no further because I am your guy! Hi! I'm Toffee Chip. I'm a 1 1/2-year-old lab mix weighing in at 51 pounds. I'm neutered and potty trained, and I sleep in my crate all night. But I don't need to be crated because I'm so well-behaved.   I have a sweet, loving, and cuddly personality. I know some basic commands, am obedient, and I want to please. I'm what you would call a Velcro dog because I LOVE my people and want to be with them.   I love playing with other dogs, chewing bones/toys, taking walks, playing catch, and going with you to run errands. My Foster mom says I'm FULL of personality!   I'm shy around strangers, so Mom says I have a touch of stranger danger. However, once I spend time with you, I settle right down. I like cats a little TOO much, so no cats for me; Oh, and I also chase squirrels!  Because I am a silly, clumsy, but solid puppy, I'm a little too rough for small children. Put in your application TODAY and come and meet me!     Check out my photo portfolio to see lots more photos of my handsome face: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjBECHr If you're interested in adopting me, Toffee Chip, please complete an online adoption application that you can fill out and submit online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms.  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
My adoption fee is sponsored by a volunteer who loves me!   Crane is a sweet, energetic, 7-year-old, lab mix with his adoption fee sponsored! This handsome guy is housebroken and crate-trained. When taking a stroll on a leash, Crane can be excitable when meeting other dogs, and so, romping around in a fenced-in yard instead of in a dog park or doggy daycare is best for him.   Crane greets you with his warm brown eyes and floppy ears. This peppy pup loves people and would be a great addition to an active family that shares bunches of love, exercise, and stimulation. Young children are not the best fit for this lively fella.       For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online at http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.          January 15, 2025, 8:10 pm

Story
Meet Hops, a sweet and affectionate 2-year-old, 53-pound Lab/Pittie mix who is ready to find his forever home! Hops adores people, especially women, but he’s a bit shy when meeting new faces, so he’ll need slow introductions to feel comfortable. Once he gets to know you, he’s an absolute joy and will shower you with love and loyalty. Hops gets especially excited when you come home, greeting you with enthusiasm at the door, though his enthusiasm and size won't work with small children. He’s also fully potty and crate-trained, and he listens well to commands like sit, down, and stay. While he gets along with his foster home's cat (he’s been trained to ignore them), a cat-free home would be ideal for him. Hops is an outdoor enthusiast who loves walks with just you and him and running freely in a fenced yard. So a fenced yard is a must. He prefers meeting new dogs off-leash and would thrive in a space where he can enjoy his favorite activity of chasing balls. When he’s in a calm, familiar setting, Hops is a laid-back, intuitive companion who knows just when to cuddle and when to give you space. Hops is ready to bring his loyal, loving nature into the right home. If you're looking for a well-behaved, sweet dog who enjoys both playtime and snuggling, Hops could be the perfect match for you!   * Additional pictures can be viewed on:  https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjAWaVx     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms    Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions.
