Cookie is a really good dog&well-behaved, affectionate, and has a calm spirit. She loves her routines, enjoys her walks, and is just as happy cuddling up and relaxing. She has so much love to give and deserves someone who has the time to fully enjoy everything that makes her special. This has been an incredibly hard decision for me, but with my busy work schedule,not able to give Cookie the time and attention she truly deserves. She means so much to me, and my only goal is to find her a safe, loving home where she can be happy and cared for. This adorable black Lab mix is Harlem! She was surrendered to the shelter on January 2nd along with her sister/bestie, Rummi. Sadly, their family lost their home and they had no place for Harlem and Rummi to go. Their former family did note that Harlem is good with children and other dogs. The volunteers describe her as very sweet and friendly, and she sits nicely when asked. Harlem is also very playful and would love to have a best friend to throw tennis balls for her (see video). If you have room in your heart and home for Harlem, please come meet her. Harlem is approximately 2 years old, and weighs 49 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Harlem is waiting patiently in kennel 872; her ID # is 16099. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers.
