Story
Hershey my female chocolate lab, needs a new home. She is around 5 years old. She is spayed and has all her shots. She does gets UTI's on occasion. She was raised on some acreage, so she had a place to play. My husband passed away, so I had to move into an apartment. I have been trying to give her exercise, but I am 72 years old and have fallen twice in the last month with her pulling. She weighs around 90lbs and is very strong. I just can't handle her. She is very sweet and calm. She doesn't get excited over things; she is very low-key. She loves children, people, other dogs, and cats, but squirrels are annoying. The squirrels kept climbing her trees. She would sit under a tree for hours knowing a squirrel ran up it.....she never realized they came down on the other side and ran away. She is a working type dog (she doesn't work just the stature) as opposed to a show dog. Hershey is a very good dog and I love her but I can't afford to break any bones.

Story
We took in my aunt’s dog a few months ago when she was hospitalized, and have been caring for him since then (faithfully expecting it to be short term.) Unfortunately, last week my aunt was placed in hospice and we are scrambling to find someone to adopt him. As much as we’d love to, we’re not able to keep him long term. We don’t have animals because my wife and I travel for work so we’ve never committed to getting any sort of pet. He’s a great little guy with tons of energy - so he needs to be with a family (or single person!) that can dedicate time to him. If you know anyone that might be interested in adopting him, please reach out. Poodle, golden doodle, or bernadoodle experience would be great.
