Story
We are looking to rehome our Labradoodle. She is six years old… she is energetic and loves people and is great with kids… She loves to fetch a ball and run around outside; she has been an outside dog but would do well as an inside dog if house trained…

Mac is a wonderful and loving 4 year old, 26 pound labradoodle. As my children have grown, our house has become much more chaotic. He struggles with anxiety when there is a lot of commotion. I am in search of a calm and loving home with adults.

Story
Lincoln is a sweet dog who does not get a long with our other dog and it's not fair to keep them both gated to specific areas of our house. He is about 6.5 years old. Mini-labradoodle. Cream/white super fluffy fur. Loves to play fetch. While he graduated obedience school as a puppy he does not walk on a leash well and will need retrained. Can sit, stay, lay, and shake. While doodles aren't supposed to shed he does as he is a first line. His shots are just out of date. Neutered and microchipped.

Please contact Marilyn at 856-275-6905 for more information about this pet.  This dog is located in Newark, DE. Visit us on the web at https://fur-everpaws.com/fur-ever-paws-adoption-application/ to submit an application. Please contact the foster directly at 856-275-6905 (call or text) or via email at Fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com&#226&#128&#139 Fur Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a small no kill rescue operating in the Delaware/Maryland area. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues and places homeless, neglected or abused dogs from high-kill shelters in the south into loving, responsible committed and permanent homes. We feel our comprehensive adoption process which includes not only taking the time to match the dog to the prospective new owner but helping to educate that owner in responsible dog care, allows us to find the best homes for our little buddies and the best companions for you! Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here, you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). We provide a spay or neuter voucher to all of our adopters. &#226&#128&#139 November 12, 2024, 2:40 pm

ABOUT MARLI If you're looking for a lovable lab, come meet Marli! She is a 1 year old girl, who is sweet as chocolate and loves everyone. Marli came to HAP from a high-intake shelter in Louisiana when they no longer had space for her. When she first arrived, Marli had a severe upper respiratory infection, which thankfully she has fully recovered from! Despite going through treatment, she remained a happy, fun-loving girl. Marli has such a playful personality, always having a toy with her. She also enjoys spending time outside and going for long walks. Since Marli was sick before, she hasn't been super involved in doggy playgroup and has just begun making friends on walks! She is already leash-trained and knows basic commands! If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
ABOUT APPLEJACK Applejack is our young black lab mix looking for his forever home! AppleJack came to HAP from a high-intake shelter in Louisiana when they no longer had space for him or his sisters, Rarity and Pinkie Pie. He has some reservations about life in the shelter but thrives with other dogs. We think he would do best in a home with a current resident dog to help show him the ropes and build his confidence because as soon as he's around another dog, he completely changes and his playful personality comes out! Applejack does really well on the leash but sometimes pulls back or lays down when he gets nervous. It takes a little bit for him to warm up to his humans but when he does, he's happy to lay beside you and soak up all the love! We're sure that with a little bit of patience and a lot of love and reassurance, Applejack will grow into an incredible dog ready to take on the world! Applejack has participated in both our Doggy Day Out and Foster programs! Here's what two volunteers have to say about him: "Applejack was the best boy for the few days he hung out with my family and our five dogs! I've been by the shelter several times to walk Applejack so he was familiar with me but still looked for other dogs for guidance. I had to pick him up to get him in the car but he was great once we started driving and laid down for the entire trip. We spent several hours at a local brewery, where he made a few doggy friends and even let two new people say hello to him- he was very brave! Afterwards, he came home with me for a few days where he was an excellent house guest! He hasn't had any accidents and he's slept through the night in his crate! One of Apple's favorite things since he's been at my house is running around out back with all my dogs! He really is a dog's dog and will happily prance around and chase anyone who wants to play! He definitely needs a patient person that will give him the time and reassurance to feel comfortable and confident but once he does, he really is just such a good boy!" "Applejack is wondering why he has no interest. He is such a sweet pup, he LOVES other dogs of ALL sizes, and would likely do well with cats and other types of animals. He enjoys fetching toys, especially the frisbee outside, entertains himself with chew toys inside, and will Netflix & chill while you are relaxing! He has no accidents in the house and is just couch surfing with us while he works on building his confidence. You see, AJ doesn't understand quite yet that the loud noises won't hurt him and that every person he has met, are good people. Watching him warm up has been very rewarding & I just can't believe that he hasn't had a single application!" - Kelly **Applejack is currently in a foster home, available for adoption by-appointment! If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions!
