Story
Meet Summit, a gorgeous six-year-old, 48lb. F2B Labradoodle with a non-shedding coat and heart full of love to give. She is being surrendered to our rescue as she is no longer doing well with the children in the home now that the family’s baby is crawling and getting more into her space. As the situation is no longer safe, we would like to find Summit a new home quickly. This sweet and loyal girl thrives on affection and will happily stick by your side wherever you go. Whether you're enjoying a relaxing day at home or exploring the great outdoors, Summit is the perfect companion for all of life’s adventures. She loves hiking, playing fetch, and spending time in nature. Summit is incredibly smart and well-trained. She knows a variety of commands, including sit, lay down, stay, roll over, come, leave it, go potty, and her unique command "in the woods," which sends her off the grass to do her business. She’s both house and crate trained and is excellent off-leash, always returning when called. While she does pull on the leash, a "gentle lead" helps manage this behavior. She enjoys the company of male dogs and can coexist with some female dogs but hasn’t had experience with cats. Summit is wonderful with older children who are predictable but has shown aggression toward younger kids, which is why she’s looking for a new home where she can feel safe and confident. She has shown occasional resource-guarding behavior so you should have some level of dog experienced when applying. While Summit is non-shedding, she does require regular grooming to keep her coat maintained. This loving pup is protective of her family, making her a great companion for someone who appreciates her devotion. If you’re searching for an affectionate, active, and well-trained dog to join your home, Summit could be your perfect match! She’ll bring endless love, loyalty, and joy for years to come! Her adoption fee is $400 and Summit is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and spayed. She does have environmental allergies, so she is on aboquel daily. If you are interested in this lovely lady, please complete the application at form.jotform.com/200883908893166. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
What a young and silly boy sporting a wiry goatee! Tucker is a 2 year old Labradoodle and he is looking for his new family. He has traded in outdoor farm life for indoor living and thinks it is really swell. Initially he is a little hesitant about meeting new people, but a treat in hand helps him forget his fear and he is happy to meet new people. He fostered in a home with multiple dogs, but we have found that when he is one of two dogs, he tries to protect his new family from the other dog so we prefer to place him in an only dog home. He is hesitant about getting in a car, but once he is in, he is a great rider and seems to enjoy it. He is a very large boy and currently weighs 70#s He is very happy to hang around the house and get pets or to go out in the fenced yard and poke around while is foster mom does yard work. While we are not up to speed on all of the nomenclature for doodles, we do know his mother was the lab and his father was the poodle. His hair is actually great as it is wavy and wiry, but not the grooming nightmare of most doodles. If you have an active family and are looking for a doodle with a great personality that does not have the crazy grooming needs of the curly coats, Tucker may be just the guy for you. Feel free to email iPAWinc2022@gmail.com for an application.

Story
Meet Oreo! Labradoodle TRIPOD who is a happy active doll! VIDEO Hey everyone! Exciting news... this week Rock N' Rescue has the most amazing 1 and 2yr old healthy HOUSEBROKEN Labradoodles - Sophie and Oreo (TRIPOD!), ready to go to their forever home together OR SEPARATE- at first we believed that they were bonded but now we believe they'd be fine separate! Please make sure to read ALL info below BEFORE applying. NO applications accepted by anyone under the age of 25 please (parent or guardian must apply) and you MUST have dog experience. To apply go to https://rnrpets.org/dog-application/ - and make sure to give us as much info as possible. DO NOT CALL RESCUE but if you have questions u can TEXT NO CALLS to 9146885499 - please do an application BEFORE texting Meet Sophie and Oreo! Oh these girls are simply double the love and cuddles! Housetrained and well behaved, they are super delicious in every way. LOVE kids, LOVE other friendly dogs, although Oreo can be dominant so might be better as an only dog, tested fine with cats - and love to be snuggled and pampered while giving u sooo much love back. They are both just a great match for any family looking for this breed. Sophie is more gentle laid back and independent, while Oreo - who we believe is still a big puppy - is more active and would not do good alone all day as she is very attached to being social. Both great on a leash and LOVE TO PLAY SNUGGLE and just be amazing! Bought from a breeder and lived with one family - sadly their owner was arrested and they were left uncared for so we had to get them groomed and back to better health - which was easy since they are just the nicest girls! They had no choice but to ask for our help and of course we wanted to find them the BEST family as these two are better than the best!! Ideal family would be one that knows this breed mix and knows that rescue dogs might need some time to adjust and have time to be active with them on a daily basis. They are both incredibly smart and have that doodle lovable nature while also having no aggression issues or residual trauma from their past. Oreo is a tripod. And WOW what a tripod! Don't think she's at all debilitated - she can even go jogging! But she has a lot of energy and would need a little more training post adoption to just help her learn proper manners. They are currently in foster here in CT and loving life. They are spayed heartworm negative vaccinated microchipped - up to date on all preventatives. They love to play in the yard and are great in a car and love being by your side. At 55 and 65lbs they prob won't gain too much more weight - they are close to a perfect size right now. Donation is required. Out of state adopters MUST pick up in Bedford Hills NY - no exceptions.

Story
This fun, outgoing, active girl is ready to work her way into your heart! Belle loves everything and everyone and will light up your life with her positive energy. We will be honest that sometimes her enthusiasm is excessive, so she needs someone who can reinforce good behavior so she doesn't jump or knock others over. For that reason we would prefer her to be in a home with no young children who live there all the time. She would be fine with kids visiting since she adores them, but she will need to get her initial excitement out first. Belle enjoys being on the go, riding in the car, meeting new people and exploring the world but she does settle when she is at home and is a perfect couch potato. She is good on leash when she is out and about and loves exploring. While Belle loves other dogs, we have found that she loves them a little too much and not all dogs love her enthusiasm for them. We are working on helping her learn how to regulate and channel her excitement so until that is better, we prefer that she lives as an only pet. No cats for the same reason. A fenced yard would be ideal and she is currently trained on an electric fence which she can be out on as long as you are monitoring her. Belle is a perfect medium size at about 45 lbs, and she is even more beautiful in person. She thrives with structure and training and LOVES to be with her people. She is being fostered in Litchfield county Connecticut so please fill out an application if you would like to meet her! www.spottydogrescue.org ##1473726##
