Story
What a young and silly boy sporting a wiry goatee! Tucker is a 2 year old Labradoodle and he is looking for his new family. He has traded in outdoor farm life for indoor living and thinks it is really swell. Initially he is a little hesitant about meeting new people, but a treat in hand helps him forget his fear and he is happy to meet new people. He fostered in a home with multiple dogs, but we have found that when he is one of two dogs, he tries to protect his new family from the other dog so we prefer to place him in an only dog home. He is hesitant about getting in a car, but once he is in, he is a great rider and seems to enjoy it. He is a very large boy and currently weighs 70#s He is very happy to hang around the house and get pets or to go out in the fenced yard and poke around while is foster mom does yard work. While we are not up to speed on all of the nomenclature for doodles, we do know his mother was the lab and his father was the poodle. His hair is actually great as it is wavy and wiry, but not the grooming nightmare of most doodles. If you have an active family and are looking for a doodle with a great personality that does not have the crazy grooming needs of the curly coats, Tucker may be just the guy for you. Feel free to email iPAWinc2022@gmail.com for an application.

Story
Meet Summit, a gorgeous six-year-old, 48lb. F2B Labradoodle with a non-shedding coat and heart full of love to give. She is being surrendered to our rescue as she is no longer doing well with the children in the home now that the family’s baby is crawling and getting more into her space. As the situation is no longer safe, we would like to find Summit a new home quickly. This sweet and loyal girl thrives on affection and will happily stick by your side wherever you go. Whether you're enjoying a relaxing day at home or exploring the great outdoors, Summit is the perfect companion for all of life’s adventures. She loves hiking, playing fetch, and spending time in nature. Summit is incredibly smart and well-trained. She knows a variety of commands, including sit, lay down, stay, roll over, come, leave it, go potty, and her unique command "in the woods," which sends her off the grass to do her business. She’s both house and crate trained and is excellent off-leash, always returning when called. While she does pull on the leash, a "gentle lead" helps manage this behavior. She enjoys the company of male dogs and can coexist with some female dogs but hasn’t had experience with cats. Summit is wonderful with older children who are predictable but has shown aggression toward younger kids, which is why she’s looking for a new home where she can feel safe and confident. She has shown occasional resource-guarding behavior so you should have some level of dog experienced when applying. While Summit is non-shedding, she does require regular grooming to keep her coat maintained. This loving pup is protective of her family, making her a great companion for someone who appreciates her devotion. If you’re searching for an affectionate, active, and well-trained dog to join your home, Summit could be your perfect match! She’ll bring endless love, loyalty, and joy for years to come! Her adoption fee is $400 and Summit is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and spayed. She does have environmental allergies, so she is on aboquel daily. Meet Nola! Nola is a happy dog but very serious about her cuddles. She is a true southern bell. She will gently take treats from your hand and you can almost hear her say…”Well bless your heart. Thank you dear.” She walks great on a leash and is very loyal to those that love her. She did a great job raising her babies and she always put them first. Now it is her time to be put first and pampered like the princess she is. Don’t pass this baby girl up…you’ll regret it. Story
Meet Girly Girl! Girly Girl was found on a mail route and rescued by the sweet mail lady. Due to animal cruelty, she had to have her tail amputated, however, that hasn’t stopped her from wagging what’s left. It actually just adds to her sweet personality. For her to have such a chaotic and painful life, she is very well behaved and loving. She does well on a leash and doesn’t try to pull you down. Oddly enough, she isn’t a fan of treats but she is a fan of hugs. Girly Girl is out of pain and receiving the attention she has always deserved but she needs one last stop to know she’s home. He/she is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Please fill out an application at www.northboundrescue.com
