Story
Tsunami was acquired from a friend who's dog had puppies. He was about 5 months when we got him. He was born November 4th of 2022 and I brought him home April of 2023. Fantastic with kids, no food aggression, well trained, but extremely high energy and pretty high anxiety. Needs constant attention and space to run around to burn the energy off. Trained professionally on a boarding and 1 on 1 setting. Even with training he is very reactive to people and dogs. My hope is that whoever takes him on will have a nice fenced in yard for him to play in as well as time to dedicate to him that I no longer have with a new job, and 3 kids. My schedule is very busy and hectic over the last year and I can no longer give him the attention he deserves on a daily basis. Please note. Adoption fee will be used to groom him prior to pickup day.

Story
Jetta is estimated to be a 3-4 month old female puppy who we think might be some type of Doodle mix. Breeds are a best guess though! She has long and wirey hair, but it’s also soft like a Doodle mix. Jetta was found wandering in town and taken to the local vet for safe keeping. When no one came looking for her, the local rescue took her in. Jetta plays great with other dogs and likes toys. She will use puppy pads and has been doing well at night time. When kept on a schedule, she has been doing great with house training. She’s a smart pup ready for a forever home! Jetta is up to date on vaccines for her age and microchipped. If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at https://packleadersrescue.com/adoption-application/

Story
*SNUGGLE ALERT!*  Bristol, a vibrant ~2 year old terrier/lab mix, is a bundle of love and energy waiting to enrich your life! This sweet 45-pound spayed female adores people, children, and snuggles, making her the perfect companion for an active family or individual. She is very friendly and loves other dogs! She also does well with dog savvy cats.  Bristol thrives on human interaction and loves being close to her people. Due to her exuberant nature, we recommend older kids 8+ or dog-savvy kiddos (she means no harm and does not have a mean bone in her body, however she may unintentionally knock over a small child).  Bristol walks well on leash and is doggie door trained. She is a quick learner, eager to please, and loves belly rubs and showering her family with kisses! A fenced-in yard would be her dream come true, where she can unleash her signature "zoomies" and adorable "tippy-toes" running style.  Apply to meet this sweet, special girl today!  Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2073770##

Story
Meet Casper, a ~5 year old neutered male mini poodle/shih tzu mix, weighing about 22 lbs! He is a sweet boy who can be shy at first and is fearful/aggressive to strangers. He wants desperately to form connections with people (and he does once you give him space and let him come to you on his own terms), but he is very fearful and he has learned that behaving in an aggressive manner = the scary thing goes away. He takes time to warm up to strangers and needs someone who will be patient with him and work on helping him learn to trust. He DOES have the capacity to trust and once he does, he is an absolute LOVE and a very sweet boy.  Casper is selectively good with other dogs after a proper introduction (he does best with similar sized dogs). He is good with people once he has gotten to know them and trusts them, but would do best in a child-free home. He has not been cat tested, but we feel he would probably do ok with cats. Casper's ideal home would be one with a quiet, calm environment. From Casper's current foster: "Casper is truly growing everyday. He still is protective when strangers come into the house but we are working on this. Going to do some more training to help him there. But as far as my family in my house, he is a complete love. Loves to play, lay on your lap and be around his people. He is so gentle and sweet. That is contrary to his reaction with strangers in the house. I just love this guy. He is amazing with my boys. Has welcomed the puppies into the home with no problems. He is going to be an amazing dog to the right people. He just wants to be loved and feel safe. So sad he had a rough start but he is such a joy to have." Casper is medically up to date, crate trained, and mostly housebroken. Apply to meet this special boy today! Story
Meet the Christmas Carol pups: Tiny Tim, Claus, Midnight, and Nick! They were found abandoned at just a couple of days old. There were 7 pups in the litter originally, but sadly 3 did not make it The remaining 4 boys are strong little fighters who are now ready to find their furever homes! We think they are lab mixes and we expect them to grow to medium sized dogs. Tiny Tim is a sweet boy who is a typical happy, playful puppy! Good with dogs, cats, people, and kids. Young puppies are like blank slates who, with proper training and socialization, will grow into wonderful dogs. Tiny Tim has beautiful hazel eyes, white toes, and adorable white markings on his chest. He's the smallest of the litter, but that won't stop him & he is catching up in size! He loves to snuggle and is a very good boy. Apply to meet this adorable little guy today! Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable.
