Story
Hello, meet Benito aka Bubba:) Benito is a 4 year old, more or less Labradoodle and Wirehaired Pointer. He was found with his hair so tangled that we had to give him a very short hair cut. Accidently the groomer at that event who did his hair cut; his ears accidently because the ears were so damaged by the hair. So he is missing a small piece on both ears. He is very calm; not a barker, if you put him in crate is like he doesn't exist. He is such a good boy, very easy going - gets along with all dogs - not sure about cats as we have not fostered him around cats. He loves to go for walks and loves car rides:) He is very submissive - not aggressive that all. He is being fostered with other 20 dogs, of all sizes and ages:) He will give you a hand shake - well a paw shake:) He will make a wonderful addition to any family or a solo person who loves a calm dog. Benito is a survivor of Distemper - this means he will never get the disease again and he can life up to 15 years old of life as some of our survivors have done:) Are you ready to give him a forever home? Story
Adoption Event: Please let us know if you want this beauty to be at our semi-monthly adoption event by texting us at 619-576-0747 Our sweet Dalila is a female 50 pounds rescued girl, who loves to run and play fetch!! . Dalila is an ideal medium size, has a nice coat, low shedding and semi-hypoallergenic as she is a mixed of Labradoodle and German Shorthaired Pointer and Border Terrier. Hard to find a medium to large size low shedding-hypoallernic rescued pets due that the majority are small breeds:) She will be ideal for any family. However, an active family will be ideal for her sweet and playful temperament. She is good with people and children, and currently being fostered with another 18 dogs:) She will need basic training such as basic commands and to be leashed trained as she has been at the sanctuary running free but goes to a crate in the evenings to sleep - therefore, she is crate trained as well :) Not sure about how she is with cats but she is a pup still and trainable. Are you ready to give her a forever home? Story
Equal parts love and energy and full of both. Divorce, Lost Job, Her Boy doesn’t have time for her. She will sit pretty and stay until you put the dish down. I will feel good if she goes to a home with another dog and kids. She requires physical play and mental play. House broken but if she’s not walked and let outside enough she will have an accident. I``m heartbroken but feel guilty that I’m not spending enough time with her. Her boy has become a teenager who doesn’t have time for her. She’s as loveable as loveable can get. She often sleeps in the bed with me. Very much not a couch potato, wants to play and fetch. She deserves a family to love her. Shell return the love with interest. I wouldn’t recommend her to a single person unless they really know labs. Needs a yard.

Story
Mackenzie is a sweet, gentle & loving dog. She is good with all humans & dogs. She is great on the leash for walking. She howls with excitement when she knows a walk is coming 💗 Although we absolutely love Mackenzie & will miss her dearly, it would be best for her to be in a home without children or with an older adult who has some extra time on their hands so she gets the attention & routine she deserves. She has some anxiety & needs routine and a mild antidepressant to help her thrive. Her anxiety manifests in hiding anywhere she can to feel safe. She prefers to be in small, secure & enclosed spaces such as a crate in a bathroom or laundry room when she gets stressed. Like most dogs, she is triggered by fireworks and any loud thunder type sounds. She is also sensitive to beeping from television shows that are censoring foul language. For her safety, she needs a home with a secure yard or large property where she can roam free & come home after some exploring.

Story
Odb was found on the streets of Long Beach. After getting him fully vaccinated fixed in microchipped he is ready for his help forever home. He is estimated to be about 9 years old about 24 lb and is a poodle mix. He is very easy going laid back and loves to cuddle. He loves to go and walks and enjoys just following you around the house. Huge you best with kids over the age of 10:00 as he has a little bit of older man. Or if he is around respectful children that also works as well. He is a great boy it would bring peace and love to a loving home.
