Story
Boaz/Bodie/Bo is a 3-year-old Straight-hair Labradoodle. Bodie is a medium sized, trained, indoor dog. Bodie was purchased from a breeding company called Puppy Spot for five thousand dollars. Bodie has only known one owner and one family. Bodie is an athletic, shy, and gentle dog. Bodie is not aggressive at all. He does not jump on, bite, or even lick people in the face. Bodie loves to be pet and cuddled with but is not demanding about it. Bodie has a big bark, and he is vigilant which creates a great amount of awareness security in a household. Bodie is disciplined in the sense that he does not damage shoes, clothing, or furniture. Bodie is most likely the perfect dog for you, just like he was for us. Unfortunately, we are not able to keep Bodie due to unforeseen personal circumstances. We are not asking for any compensation for Bodie even though we are aware of his monetary value. Our biggest concern is finding the best re-home environment for him to peacefully live.

Story
This is Diesel! I unexpectedly rescued him from someone I know. He was living in a small kennel for about 2 years before I took him in. He is 3-4 years old. He is a sweet boy, house trained and listens well. He gets along with my border collie, and tolerates my puppy, although he definitely does not like all of her energy. He is great with my 8 and 12 year old sons, and has been around smaller children with no issues, although I’ve never witnessed that myself. The reason I am rehoming him is because he does not like cats (I have 4) or other small animals. I have chickens and indoor cats so he can only come inside when I have them in another room. He deserves the best life and he is a great dog. He needs a home with no cats or small animals. He would be great as the only dog. He is very calm, and when he comes inside, he just lays around and wants love. I also have his breed DNA result upon request. If interested, submit an application and I will reach out to you by e-mail. Thank you!

Story
Molly is a beautiful Labradoodle that is currently 51 pounds. She is estimated to be about 12-18 months. She was originally found as a stray and will be released on 1/1/25 after her stray hold is up, but we will be accepting applications in the meantime in case no owner comes forward. She was a bit of a mess when she was found and was given an at-home haircut to give her some relief from the matting and overgrown curls. It is very important for Doodles, especially those with the curly coat, to get regularly grooming every 6 to 8 weeks so her new owner would need to take that cost and time into account before taking her home. She is a very typical Doodle and acts very energetic and happy-go-lucky. The home she stayed in said she was nicely housetrained and was good with kids 2 years and older. She has boundless energy so she would do good with some extra obedience training and plenty of exercise. She will be spayed 1/2 and has received vaccines and a microchip. $350.00 adoption helps with those costs. Story
Maui is a beautiful, sweet, and silly 75lb Double Doodle (her wisdom panel shows 45% Labrador Retriever, 32% Golden Retriever, 22% Poodle, and 1% Flat-Coated Retriever). She came to SPAR facing life and death, having to undergo her second gastrointestinal surgery. She luckily pulled through the surgery and the weeks of recovery. She had previously had a foreign body removal 6 months prior as a puppy. Maui is looking for a special home. Having already used two (or more) of her spare lives, her body cannot afford another foreign body removal or gastrointestinal surgery. She cannot have access to any toys or anything left out she can chew on (blankets, dog beds, her leash, plastic dog bowls, etc). She sleeps in her kennel at night and is great around other dogs of all sizes. She is learning about cats in her current foster home and might be okay around dog-savvy cats. She would be okay in a home with older kids that understand the safety concerns of leaving things out where Maui can get into them. She has decent leash manners and enjoys going on walks. She is very smart and would love to take additional obedience classes to bond more with her new family. Maui also has already had an incisional gastropexy, so no future risks of GDV, or “bloat”. If you are interested in meeting Maui, please complete the adoption application. We go through a multi-step process for our dogs that includes meeting at the fosters home, a home inspection, and reference checks.

Story
Max is 4 yrs old. Half labrador and half poodle. House trained and crate trained. No potty issues. Good with kids. I have a sickly elderly whi moved in with me and has bad asthma attacks related to allergies to him. Max’s greatest joy is walking and running. I prefer to rehome him to someone who can make time to walk him on most days.
