Story
Hi, I`m Liesl! My brother, Luther, and I became homeless on a rainy Saturday morning, September 14, 2024. We were discovered munching on a torn bag of dog food when the animal shelter arrived to help us. Kerry, the shelter director, opened her vehicle`s hatch, and without hesitation, we both jumped in to escape the rain. Even when we reached the shelter and the hatch was opened again, we stayed put, feeling safe for the first time in a while.I have a dark black coat with brindle markings that`s quite striking, if I do say so myself. Cats? Well, let`s just say we`ve had our share of run-ins, and we`re not exactly fans. We`re both heartworm negative, sterilized, up-to-date on vaccines, and ready for new homes—whether together or separately. We love toys, running, and playing. I walk well on a leash. If you’re looking for a loyal companion or two, come visit us at the West Memphis Animal Shelter. We can’t wait to meet you!

Story
Hello, folks! My name is Murray, and I’m a handsome Terrier/Lab mix with stunning black fur and classy white markings. At the time of my impoundment on November 30, 2024, I was just about 1 to 1.5 years old—a young, spry pup ready to take on the world!I narrowly missed out on the Thanksgiving feast all the other dogs have been raving about, but no complaints here—the daily spread at the shelter is top-notch. I’m heartworm-negative (yay!) and on prevention meds, up-to-date on all my shots, and I’ll be neutered and getting my rabies vaccine very soon. Now, here`s where you come in! I need a new home. The holidays have been a little quiet around here, with visitors few and far between, but I’d love to help change that. Consider this your official invitation to stop by the shelter! While you`re at it, maybe swing by the store for a donation item or two—it would mean the world to all of us here.Trust me, we look even better in person. Spend some time with me in the play yard, and I promise you’ll fall for my charm. Let’s get to know each other—you never know, we might just be the perfect match!Looking forward to meeting you,Murray ??
