Story
Approximate Date of Birth:2/26/2023 Description:   Specter and his brother Phantom were trapped at the Stapley Walmart and when we pet them through the trap bars they didn't bite or scratch. Over several months they became social with their foster mom, and love being pet by her and fed treats. Specter is more friendly and might run, but he warms right up to people if they offer him food while they pet him. Specter likes to wind around people's legs and does the same thing to his fellow cats. He is obnoxiously friendly to other cats to the point of annoyance for some of them. He is non-aggressive but enjoys playing. Specter will whine when it's 6pm because he knows it's time for his wet food, and he is the most eager one. Specter has the strange habit of liking baked goods and has chewed through the bags to eat his foster dad's bread. He also jumped onto the table while his foster mom was making red velvet cupcakes and started eating one before she stopped him. His foster parents keep baked goods up high, or in solid containers. Specter likes to jump up on the couch and sit next to his foster mom to be petted and brushed. He will follow his foster mom throughout the house, and never gets enough pets. He will cuddle up with any cat that lets him. Words to Describe Me: Gentle and fun Favorite Place to Sleep: On the floor Favorite Toy: Stick toys and mice Perfect Day: Wake up stretched out on my back on the floor, eat my dry food, play with my friend or brother, eat a treat, receive pets, climb my cat tree and sleep on top, rub up against my foster mom because she's in the kitchen and might give me food, eat my wet food at 6pm, and settled in stretched out in the middle of the living room near my foster mom. Kitty's Likes: Head pets starting at the nose Kitty's Dislikes: Be picked up Fastest Way to Get Me to Purr: Pet my head Favorite Treat: Churu's and Meow Mix dry treats Job Title in Foster: Lover boy When I Grow Up, I Want to Be: A loving friend Good with Cats:  Loves cats. Good with Dogs: Unknown, but optimistic (Animal has not met any dogs.) Good with Children:  Can live with children over the age of 8. Companion Animal: Requires a feline companion always.  Health information: All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, FeLV / FIV tested (as indicated by age), receive vaccinations appropriate for age, preventative deworming, and microchipping prior to adoption as appropriate by age. Story
Approximate Date of Birth:4/22/2024 Description:   My ideal day is full of naps and hanging out with my fellow furballs. I love playing, climbing, and fantasizing about finally catching that tricky red dot—it always seems to outsmart me! People call me a “love bug,” though I’m not entirely sure what that means—humans are a bit odd. If you don’t mind, I’d happily spend hours with you. I enjoy watching TV and keeping an eye on the wildlife outside the window, often thinking they should join us indoors. I’m all about city life and revel in being a true City Kitty! Plus, I’ve got a knack for judging everything from the comfort of my favorite spot. Words to Describe Me: Fun, Thoughtful, Loving Kitty's Likes: Full Body Pets and Gentle Conversation. Kitty's Dislikes: No belly rubs. Fastest Way to Get Me to Purr: Lots of pets and treats! Good with Cats: Loves cats.   Good with Dogs:  Unknown, but optimistic (Animal has not met any dogs.)  Good with Children:  Can live with children over the age of 5. Companion Animal: Requires a feline companion always.  Health information: All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, FeLV / FIV tested (as indicated by age), receive vaccinations appropriate for age, preventative deworming, and microchipping prior to adoption as appropriate by age.
