Story
We have had Cliff since he was 2. He is a rescue who fell into our laps, and he has been the best dog for us two adults. He LOVES other dogs and LOVES my husband and I, but he is afraid of small kids and does not care for new people (he barks initially and then goes and lays down). He is very loyal and protective, and we call him our shadow. He sleeps on the floor right next to us, and follows us everywhere, laying down and falling asleep in whatever room we’re in. He loves to cuddle. He likes one short walk and then sleeps all day. We have to rehome him because after years of training and second-chances, he continues to growl at our 2-year-old. We got Cliff before we had kids, and he never really became comfortable around little kids. He looks visibly uncomfortable when our toddler pets him, and growls at him once every few months.
