Story
Stella is a 2 year old (3 in April) chow chow looking for a forever home. In a past home, she lived with kids and another large dog and reportedly did well with them. She does well with my cats. She also loves to play with my other dog, but I have found she is very reactive to strange dogs. She might do well with a slow introduction, but ideally she wants people dedicated to just her. She loves meeting new people! She is kennel trained, trained to wait for an ok at meal times, and knows basic tricks. She has no food aggression and is not extremely food motivated. She is laid back and loves to cuddle on the couch and sit on laps. She spends lots of time outside patrolling the fence and prefers having a doggy door so she can come and go freely. I groom her at home and she does well for baths and brushing. She also doesn’t mind having her teeth brushed. Her ideal home would be someone who is familiar with the breed, doesn’t mind shedding, and can continue her training.

Story
Meet Jasmine (A850675)! Brought to PACC as a stray, she didn’t thrive in the shelter environment, but she’s happy and gaining confidence in a foster home. Jasmine loves other dogs, walks, getting belly rubs, snoozing in the sun, and trying to get her new dog friend Molly to zoom with her. Jasmine is playful, affectionate, gentle, silly, easy-going, and well-behaved. She greets every day with a waggy tail and eagerness to spend time and play with people and dogs.Jasmine is fully housebroken, has excellent house manners, and is generally relaxed indoors unless it’s time to screen mail deliveries! She is a bit hesitant around cars and new people, is leery of being corralled, and needs to be homed with people who respect her initial boundaries. She also gets anxious when people leave the house, although she is not destructive. She is working on some basic commands and leash manners. If interested in learning more and meeting Jasmine (and who wouldn`t be?), please email pacc.adoptafoster@pima.gov.
