FILL OUT AN APPLICATION NOW TO BE APPROVED FOR A MEET AND GREET. Ricky is an 8 week old male Keeshond who weighs in at 8 pounds (as of January 25th). This pup's adoption fee is $550. If you are still interested, please read more below. Ricky is a very smart and playful puppy. He loves to play with his foster family, other dogs, or just by himself. Ricky loves to play with dogs his size or larger and respects their boundaries. He has not been around cats, however, he has been around small dogs. He consistently uses puppy pads and goes to the bathroom every time he goes outside. He is sleeping in the crate at night but needs some time to calm down when he is first put in. Ricky is pure joy and happiness. He loves to explore his environment and is still learning to be brave with new sounds. He likes to bury himself in blankets or hide under a table to take a good nap. Squeaky balls are a favorite toy of his and he has learned to bring a toy back to you when thrown. He is also starting to pick up come and respond to his name. Such a smart boy! Ricky has brought so much joy and laughter to his foster family, he can not wait to do this for his forever family as well. This pup is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and will be neutered on February 10th and available for adoption after that. The new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. Please note ARF does not approve applications for any puppy under 6 months of age to families that live outside of Illinois and/or beyond 100 miles of Wheaton or Glen Ellyn, IL.
