Story
Ok, who else in the audience LOVES the Asian BREEDS???? Shiba Inu, Akita, Korean Jindo, Chow Chow???? WE LOVE THEM ALL!! So, I am what we all believe is a Korean Jindo mixed boy. And these breeds have a couple of things in common- we are clean dogs (more like cats than dogs), we are stubborn, we love our people (and are picky about people who are not them), and we are absolutely gorgeous!! So there is my personality :) I am good with other dogs, love females more than male dogs but can get along with both. I am only 45#, compact with gorgeous fur. I love my people, but I am definitely mouthy when I play so would be best in an adult only home. I am so smart, so independent, so stubborn and SO LOVABLE! If you are my peeps, you will have enough love for the rest of your lives!! I am being social at the rescue, I am exposed to and cared for by quite a few different people, I just love my real peeps more!! lol If you want to meet me and adopt me, let my rescue know! Fill out the application and lets get on with our forever lives :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

These pups are in Seattle, Washington too!

Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more.Gladys is a 10-year-old beauty who’s the perfect mix of calm and cuddly! Her foster mom says she’s “the easiest foster I’ve ever had!” With her loving, gentle personality, Gladys spends her days lounging, soaking up belly rubs, cuddles, and kisses, and just being the sweetest companion you could ask for.Gladys is fully potty trained, rarely barks, and is wonderfully low-maintenance. She’s happy with gentle, easy walks but is just as content to relax at home with her favorite humans, ready to be your best snuggle buddy. A true people-lover, she’ll bring so much warmth and loyalty into her forever home. She’s great with kids and does well on her own when left alone. While Gladys is friendly with other dogs, she can be a little protective over her food, so she will need to be fed separately from other animals in the home or the only dog in the household. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.KANGA  thrives on adventure and would love an active adopter who will take him on adventures and give him plenty of play time! Kanga is a loyal guy and will be a great companion for someone. He LOVES the snow in the winter and to swim in the summer.  His number one favorite activity (even more than walks and treats) is going for car rides! He likes feeling the wind in his face through an open window (car surfing). Kanga is incredibly observant and curious. Kanga’s comfort with people has grown significantly while in rescue. He does need a little time to build trust, but eventually he will follow you around and give you kisses! He is also quite affectionate and loyal to those he bonds with. Kanga has excellent house manners and is happy to chill on his bed or lay beside you as you work. He has basic training and knows: sit, down, come, get it, stay, and release and is ready for the next level of training. He is very treat motivated and responds well to a clicker. Kanga just needs to know you can be counted on to pay attention to his physical cues when he’s feeling overwhelmed. Kanga would do best in a home setting with a secure yard and would prefer to be your only pet. He might do well with savvy teens as long as they are aware of Kanga’s “dog language” and can give him space when he needs it.  Are you the active, patient, forever home that Kanga is seeking? Kanga is currently enjoying the amenities of our Malley Valley doggie resort.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 11, 2024, 9:23 pm
