Sweet Athena is a 2 year old husky-malamute mix who is good with dogs, cats, and kids of all ages. Athena was dumped in the cruel streets of Houston and then at a vet boarding where she lived for months. She is very quiet, super loving and affectionate baby, who is also very obedient, housebroken, and easily trainable. She loves to chill with you watching TV or do her own thing if you are not around. She is. very mellow. Athena currently weighs about 65 lbs, fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped. and heartworm negative. She is kept on heartworm and flea preventative. She is being fostered in Texas, but can travel to many states and even Canada. Sampson is a one of a kind dog! He may not be a hundred percent Chow but he is fantastic! Does he love to entertain himself? Yes! Does he tolerate being around other dogs? Yes, he does! Does he ignore other dogs when around them? Yes! Can he live with other dogs, not quite sure. He will take patience and training and he will give you laughter and love. Everything you really need. He is a joy and a light and just a different type of dog. If you have him in your life you actually don't need another dog. He will entertain you and love you beyond belief. Does he need you? Yes! Do you need him? Yes! He just needs to be able to shine. Give him that chance and you will never be sorry!!! **Sampson is located in Austin, TX. Paid transport can be arranged. Hey there! I'm Mochi, your future silly sidekick. I'm a young, energetic chow chow with a zest for life and a genuine love of other dogs. My best friend and playmate is former K9AR monarch, Tito. Playtime, puzzles, and walkies keep my busy brain happy, but nothing tops treats, road trips, and cold floors. My thick coat needs regular brushing and detangling, plus regular home grooming to look my best. Trusting a groomer will take time; they need to understand my breed's aloofness and know not to shave a chow. I was born with hip dysplasia and though my hips have healed from surgery, I'm still very wary of anyone touching them. Look, I'm 90% loyal to my special human, with 10% reserved for my most authentic self. Bringing a guy around? Nope. Husband or dad? Sorry, still no. Friends? They shall not perceive me. My attention and affection are yours... that is until you leave the front door open - then it's later days nerd! So, what's my ideal match? A solo gal who works from home or is semi-retired, with another friendly chow or playful dog in an adult-only environment where my quirks and boundaries are respected. Oh, and a sense of humor is essential! (once you've seen my evening zoomies, you'll understand) So how 'bout it - ya wanna spend, like, a lotta time getting to know each other? Mochi is a female Chow/Spitz mix with an estimated date of birth of 02/10/2022.
