Answering the questions below, will help move the adoption process along faster. ***Please check your Junk/Spam folder for reply e-mails from us, if its been more than 72 hours*** Hi, I am Bruce, I am 1yr 9mths old, neutered male and a Karelian Bear/American Staffy Mix. I had a wonderful home, but life events happened for my humans and my whole world got flipped, my owners were great they taught me all kinds of commands, how to walk on a leash, they understood my breed very well. They thought they had found a wonderful home for me, but within 2 days that person gave me away and then that person dumped me it was a very stressful 72hrs, my old owner could not take me back, but gave the team a ton of information about me. I have lived with St. Bernard's both male and female a Great Dane and an Italian Grey hound and two cats. He has not lived with children. He take a minute to warm up to strangers and can be protective of his home in an acceptable way. He is incredibly smart, regal, eager to please, his recall is almost a 100%, he would prefer a private yard and someone who is a little active. He loves tug-a-war and fetch. My adoption fee is $250 1. Do you have a privately fenced yard? 2. What animals live in your home? 3. How many people and ages live in your home? 4. Have you had a large dog before? He is 77lbs 5. Please look up his predominate breed Karelian Bear, to understand his breed. 6. He will need two visits, this will be required, is this something you can do?

Ok, who else in the audience LOVES the Asian BREEDS???? Shiba Inu, Akita, Korean Jindo, Chow Chow???? WE LOVE THEM ALL!! So, I am what we all believe is a Korean Jindo mixed boy. And these breeds have a couple of things in common- we are clean dogs (more like cats than dogs), we are stubborn, we love our people (and are picky about people who are not them), and we are absolutely gorgeous!! So there is my personality :) I am good with other dogs, love females more than male dogs but can get along with both. I am only 45#, compact with gorgeous fur. I love my people, but I am definitely mouthy when I play so would be best in an adult only home. I am so smart, so independent, so stubborn and SO LOVABLE! If you are my peeps, you will have enough love for the rest of your lives!! I am being social at the rescue, I am exposed to and cared for by quite a few different people, I just love my real peeps more!! lol If you want to meet me and adopt me, let my rescue know! Meet our amazing fluffer boy, Kaii. He's 5-6 yrs old, 80 lbs with the most fantastic fluffy tail. He has beautiful medium energy loves to go on walks, hikes and ready for all adventures. He's a big fan of his squeaky ball, belly rubs and his treats are a must! This smart boy will sit, shake and lay down on command and will surely learn more with treats and training. Kaii can be selective with dogs, especially males, so it's probably best he be a solo dog in the home. Here’s what Kaii’s foster has to say about him, “Kai is a lover. He mostly likes to snuggle or relax but loves his ball and squeaky toys too. He gets a little scared if he is sleeping and is reached towards so talking to him first is the best way to go. He gets a little jealous of other animals after he gets comfortable so being the only dog might the best for him. He does not like cats and has a stong prey drive. He isnt really an escape artist and doesnt try to hop fences or dig but will go for a run if the front door is left open. He has so much love to give and is a pretty great dog. Doesnt seem to have separation anxiety and just chills out. I do great with older kids but due to my getting scared if woke up out of a sleep, a home with older kids would be a better fit. He has been staying (fostered) in a home with kids from 12 to 18.” He would be an awesome best friend to have by your side so get your application in ASAP. He's neutered, vaccinated and chipped so he's ready and hoping you pick him! Currently being fostered in Salem, Oregon.

Meet the adorable 4yr old boy, Scooby! He's had a rough life and is still the sweetest boy with the best demeanor. He was rescued from the euthanasia list and had a few medical issues that we were happy to step up and pay for and he's on the road to recovery. He also has a slight heart murmur but that could be due to him being 18lbs under weight. He's a big boy who should weigh 80lbs and currently at 62lbs. He was at 53lbs at the shelter and he's loving all the attention, food and love he's getting in his temporary foster home. He deserves the world cuz he is such a kind soul, calm, submissive and docile. He's so special and he's the kind of dog you instantly are drawn to that will melt your heart. He's dog friendly and people friendly and he's ready to love you! He's neutered, vaccinated and chipped and he's waiting for an amazing forever home this time around. Story

I'm almost 2 but never really had the chance to know what it truly means to be a puppy. I came from a breeder where the conditions were awful but my new folks rescued me and are teaching me how to be a puppy. Dad says I get better everyday. I was severly underweight but am making up for lost time. I've discovered I like to go to the river getting to know my cat sibling better and we're actually able to play as long as I mind my manners and not forget that I am way bigger than her. I love to watch the neighborhood go by as I lie in dad's office so I make a good office buddy. I love to go on walks and do pretty good on the leash. I am a fairly high energy girl with a stubborn streak. So, a typical Mal. I'm learning to like people and all the attention I get. I can be a bit of a klutz as I tend to forget I'm a big girl which can be funny at times. I know a few basic commands but learning more all the time.
