Story
I adopted Julep from a great animal shelter when she was 4.5 months, and she just turned 5 in February! Julep lives for walks, loves doggy daycare, and is a fiend for any and all treats. She is sweet, curious, and a couch potato most of the time. She is a protector through and through—I've always felt safer with her in the house, especially for the couple years I spent living by myself. When she's not lounging on the couch, she often sits in the window, letting us know if a package is being delivered or another pest control representative is going door to door (sigh). Julep has anxious tendencies. The first few minutes a guest is in the house, she'll be suspicious and barky. We've found if we tell people to just ignore her (no trying to pet her or talk her down), she calms down much quicker. Kids have always made her anxious, and our newly crawling 9mo old has proven that Julep is best suited for a kid-free home. She's never bitten or harmed. We love her and want the best for her!
