Story
Jjajang (black bean) is a sweet boy and a very good on-leash walker. He doesn’t bark and is very gentle when taking treats. He likes snufflemats and boiled chicken breast. He does well with other well-behaved and chill dogs.Jjajang was rescued from a Korean dog meat farm when he was about a year old, so he is fearful and very cautious of strangers. The best home for him would be a family with older kids, empty nesters, child-free couples, or singles who are patient and have time to continue working with him to help him gain confidence (he has made a lot of progress so far!). He startles easily and gets scared at loud noises (hence why he doesn’t do well with young children or probably puppies). He tends to play alone at night after everyone has gone to bed.The current owner obtained Jjajang to prevent him from being abandoned/euthanized and has been working with a trainer to help him overcome his trauma, but no longer has the mental/emotional capacity to continue training him.
