Emma is currently in a foster home and is not here at our facility. If you would like to meet her, please give us a call at 406-752-7297. Emma is 7.5 years old. She is an active, playful, spunky Jindo. She was rescued from Korea and brought to Montana for adoption and a forever home. Sadly, Emma was re-housed 2x before she found her way to Whitefish Montana. She has lived a wonderful life with a human that walked her and kept her safe. Jindo`s are medium sized Spitz-like dogs. They are gentle, extremely loyal and intelligent. They are considered low maintenance. Emma`s human passed away in December and her other dog companion, Phoebe, were brought back to Whitefish in early January.Emma is currently being fostered. We need to find a forever home for her and if we are lucky enough for her Phoebe, a husky mix. They are bonded but both could live separately. Emma is cautious of people at first. Her foster has been taking her to the dog park daily to socialize her to other dogs and to humans. She has done so well and now cannot wait to run and play with other dogs. She cannot live with cats and could live with dogs and although has not lived with children doesn`t seem to have any issues with them. She loves walking/running and is very good on a leash. Emma is not afraid of the car and car rides. A fenced in yard or an active family would be perfect for Emma. Please consider meeting Emma and seeing if she is a match for your family.
