🐾 Meet Udong🐾
📍 Current location: South Korea
❤ Age: 1 year old
❤ Gender: Neutered Male
❤ Weight: 16 kg (35 lbs)
❤ Breed: Jindo Mix
✨ Personality & Behavior
Udon is an affectionate, people-loving boy who adores everyone—men, women, and especially children. He’s incredibly gentle and tolerant, happily soaking up pets and attention. Even when kids run, shout, or play loudly around him, he remains calm and unbothered.
He has a medium energy level outdoors (6/10), but indoors he’s very მშვიდ and relaxed (honestly closer to a 3/10 😄). At home or in the office, he mostly rests quietly and behaves beautifully—even with new visitors.
🐶 With Other Dogs
Udon generally gets along well and enjoys playing with other dogs at the park. On leash, he may get excited when encountering overly pushy or high-energy dogs, but he responds well to guidance and can be easily managed with commands like “sit” and “wait.”
🐱 With Cats
Not compatible with cats.
👶 With Children
Excellent with children. Very gentle, patient, and tolerant—even with noise and sudden movements.
🚽 House Training
Fully outdoor potty trained.
🔔 Separation Anxiety / Barking
No separation anxiety
Rarely barks
May give a short bark at doorbells, but settles quickly
🍗 Health & Allergies
Vaccinated and neutered
Mild allergy to chicken (can cause slight eye discharge), but small amounts are tolerated
🤲 Handling & Touch
Udon absolutely loves human touch and attention. He has no sensitivity to handling and enjoys being petted.
🚶 Walks & Leash Manners
He is a fantastic walking companion!
Walks calmly with no pulling
Very responsive, especially with treats
Easily controllable even when mildly excited
🚪 Escape Tendencies
None. Zero.
(Once, the leash was accidentally dropped during a walk—and he just stood there looking confused 😆)
🏡 Special Notes
Currently accompanies his foster to the office and behaves perfectly
Quiet, well-mannered, and relaxed indoors
Friendly with strangers and visitors
Loves ball toys 🎾
Especially wonderful with children
💔 Rescue Story
Udon was found tied up with a rope in a utility area and rescued after being reported by a passerby. He was once adopted in Korea but unfortunately returned due to adopter-related issues. He is now waiting again for his forever family—this time, one that will truly be forever.
