Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. TANIA & TIARA were saved by SAVE KOREAN DOGS from Tobong Dog Slaughterhouse on June 29th 2022  from a horrendous and painful evil death. She arrived in the US on 2nd November 2023. TANIA is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, heartworm and tick tested negative, she is on monthly preventatives, de-wormed and microchipped. She has an estimated date of birth of 21 January 2021 and weighs around 40 pounds. She is a Jindo mix breed dog, with the Jindo being a national treasure. Tania is a sweet gentle girl who is in need of a home that is going to go slow and show her love and give her the security she needs, whilst going out on walks and adventures and helping her get familiar with the strange environment, strange noises and smells that are so very different to south Korea. Unfortunately Tania's sister Tiara passed away in January 2025 and so Tania is alone without her sister, but here at the rescue with the house pack. TAnia is shy and nervous which is to be expected with all she has endured so we are looking for a nice chilled out family who enjoys walks and adventures, but also chilling on the coach. Tania is great with other dogs, having lived with 15 here at the rescue and has not been phased by the cats, although the cats do tend to stay out of the way. Please be sure to follow our Facebook page for regular updates as we do not always have the time to update the website and adoption sites on all the individual dogs. We also post video's on our YouTube channel where you can see the dogs personalities, get a better idea of age and looks also. We take a lot of pictures and videos and don't always have the time to post them on the dogs individual webpage and adoption site, so we ask that you go to the rescue  YouTube channel  and  photo albums on our Facebook page  to see a LOT of pictures and videos. Interested families are required to complete our application process and once approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and take home their new best friend. Our process takes 1-2 days as long as we are able to talk to references, so be prepared to be approved (hopefully) to adopt within a few days of submitting the adoption application. https://giveadogahome-rescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5838  Click here to watch a video of TANIA.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 25, 2025, 8:36 am

Story
"Please become the loving family of Songyi ❤️ Songyi is a puppy born to stray dogs living on a small hill in Gimpo. She had to always protect herself to survive among adult dogs, and due to her disabilities, she sometimes had to gather food separately. She was rescued after being bullied by other dogs and finding herself in dangerous situations. Leaving the hill was a new and frightening experience for Songyi, and she faced conflicts with new friends. It wasn't easy for them to open their hearts to humans either. 😢 Thanks to the efforts of the rescuers, Songyi is getting along well with her friends and is eagerly learning while waiting for her family. She is curious about everyone and shows endless affection to her rescuers. We hope she can spend the rest of her life in the warmth of a loving family. She is seeking a lifelong family that will be a source of strength and support for her. Although her disabilities may be a bit challenging, she is just like any other companion. Please be a strong family for our beautiful Songyi. ❤️"

Story
Meet our loveable fool, Rose Rose was adopted 3 years ago from the Pyeongtaek shelter by an individual. However, after three years, she and Baekdu, the dog adopted with her, were returned to the shelter when their owner broke up with her boyfriend. At Pyeongtaek shelter, adult Jindo dogs are the first to be considered for euthanasia. Although we couldn’t help every dog, we rescued Rose and Baekdu because we knew all too well what their fate would be. Baekdu was fortunate to quickly find a new family, but Rose had trauma from her early years of abuse by her previous owner. She had a fear of people at first, but now she has adapted well and is waiting for a loving forever home. If there’s a family who can heal her wounds and offer her the care she deserves, she will be an incredibly loving companion. Please consider becoming Rose’s family.❤ **Personality:Gentle, affectionate and seeks to be petted, timid yet very curious **Interaction with women: Good **Interaction with men: Good **Interaction with children: No experience **Interaction with other dogs:Average.
